I got the Oceania Live in NYC this Saturday, DVD+2CD version. The filming is pretty slow-paced, clearly made for 3D, but the show itself is really good. X.Y.U. is by far one of the coolest songs on there (goosebumps Arthur?
) and it’s cool to have an official release of The Dream Machine! So yeah, well worth it!Nice interview indeed! But the day Billy says something positive about the music industry will obviously be the day the world will end.

It would indeed be really cool to have a physical copy of that song, but I have never seen one. Maybe, if Zeitgeist gets reissued (I think that was planned, right?) FOL might get included. That may be your best chance for a lossless copy.
Wow! That exceeded all my expectations! Sound was a lot better than yesterday. They played all the same songs, just a different order. That was nice for the surprise effect!
What more can I say? If this really was the last show they ever played in the Netherlands, it would’ve been one hell of an ending!And of course it was cool to see all you guys again!

I now see that the sound on the balcony was a lot better. But oh well, you have to sacrifice something to be in the front row!Did you go to the same show, Sven? I agree that the sound wasn’t great (really REALLY muddy at times) , but the show was great in my opinion. I loved the setlist (If There Is A God, Porcelina, United States, 33!) and the band was clearly having fun. It might be that it was my second Pumpkins show and the first in a small venue, last time was HMH, but I really had a great time.
Just one thing that keeps me thinking: before Billy started playing If There Is A God (I believe), he talked with the audience about getting old. He said ‘this is the last time we’re playing Paradiso’ and I just couldn’t figure out why. I had the feeling he wanted to tell something important, but he ended up talking about pancakes without getting to the point. Does anyone know what’s going on?
Anyway, I got a cool tour shirt and Nicole gave me one of Billy’s picks. Nice

What were the surprises Billy was talking about a few days ago? Or was that just about the setlist?
Also, I can’t believe the 013 show still hasn’t sold out. Crazy!
I heard some good things about the show! Setlist looks great, The Imploding Voice is a cool addition. And wow, Porcelina, United States and Rocket? This is gonna be great!

I think this is an argument that will last as long as the Pumpkins are around. I personally just don’t read comments on new Pumpkins videos, Facebook updates, interviews etc. anymore. There’s no use in constant argueing right?
The ‘new’ Pumpkins are great, the ‘old’ Pumpkins are great. But they are the Pumpkins whatever the line-up.

I totally understand him. Things like the wrong vocal take on Plume, a sticker to cover up a mistake in the credits, quite a few spelling errors/typos in the booklets make the reissues feel like a bit of a rush job.
