Billy in 2015:  touring, wrestling, video-making, more touring, interviews, cat adopting, album recording….I don’t think this vinyl set will happen this year either. I think in general fans will be more interested in having a new album than a vinyl set of obscure recordings though. 😀

Well, if anyone recorded it they are taking a while to upload it. Ask that guy if he needs techincal help!
Monty will say whatever Billy told him 🙂

This VIP? They must have asked before/after, or made it up.

Perhaps originally, Billy was lying (saying that he was offended) which would mean Monte was telling the truth  :O

Well done finding all those t-shirts Kremlin18 !

Billy tweeted to someone last month that they would be reissuing vintage designs as they’ve signed with a new merch company.

And yes Billy says a lot of things, so don’t know when this will happen…

    whoah – well done!

For me: Monuments vinyl (sent from UK so I assume it’s EU) and Thirty-three NZ cassette.

I wonder if this is still happening, and starting this year – seems like other things are taking priority (which I expected).

Note for BUGS/FIXES: I didn’t start this thread, and also: what happened to Arthur’s post? It looks blank to me.

I had to contact Pledgemusic as I hadn’t received my download yet…seems like a lot of people didn’t receive items in the post either.
    I just got this reply:

Apologies! I didn’t notice you were a NZ pledger. Yes, due to licensing restrictions this album is only available on Friday 12th I’m afraid for NZ/Aus fans.

FYI – the 11th is due to the site working to GMT.

only a few more hours! But I’ve listened to the youtube version already.

Dorian, Monuments, Tiberius, Anaise, Drum+Fife, One and All, Anti-hero – such great music!
    Being Beige is still ‘okay’.
    Run2me makes me cringe.

Even if the postage was cheaper – the tea wouldn’t get past biosecurity in my country – being exotic and rare ‘plant material’

The pledge music site has other options for regular vinyl etc:

still: the album could be a wholly different story altogether.

This is true – there was a very cool riff posted on the Nexus a few months ago, which sounded like ‘a rocker’. And the people who have heard the album apparently are saying it’s ‘a return to form’. So…like Oceania:

From wikipedia: "The album has received generally positive reviews, with many reviewers finding Oceania to be a return to form for Corgan. "

Don’t expect any epics though – the longest song on MTAE is 4.08 – and on Oceania there are 8 songs which are 4.06 or longer…perhaps the shorter songs are easier to play live, which means not so much exhaustion for poor ol’ Billy.

Pretty sure the ‘doom metal album’ was a joke! :P

Wouldn’t have been a winner in the Zwan era…
and the distorted mix is just plain strange and muddy and bizarre…

    [/quote:3j72rh7d]

Yes – I was hoping this was just some poor quality upload or the soundcloud app. Still sounds like this on decent headphones. It’s ‘ok’ but for a single it should be more than that :?

also, I think Billy may have gone to the ‘adult contemporary’ style like Sting has….he’s writing a musical too! :)

Did anyone read the linear notes?

MTAE is an album within an album for TEARGARDEN along with DFN being the albums last work.

    ?????????????

    Surely fucking not?[/quote:3cexom0l]

Yes, the 44-song Teargarden project will finally come to an end…

    Numbered songs listed here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teargarden_by_Kaleidyscope

Some are on youtube – isn’t ‘Without You’ the alt version? – great song anyway 8)

Is it possible some of these will be on future releases (Machina reissue, Zwan etc) so that was why they shouldn’t have been leaked?

    tut tut…SP fans

    sweet interview!

I really really hope for a music release with the Chicago songs documentary…will be fantastic to see the whole composing and recording process for it, but knowing how many songs were written (around 60?) that must be one hell of a challenge.

also: Signal to Noise – yes please!

    Very nice!
It may not involve as much ‘processing’ as the reissues, possibly similar to the AEGEA vinyl being recorded and pressed, which didn’t take long. Still, Billy has the Ravinia show, Adore Reissue release, Day for Night and other things to be busy with this year….which is probably a good thing if you’ve already bought AEGEA and the Adore Reissue. $$$

    Looks swish overall. :)

I’m hoping they provide the digital d/ls again for these, not much room for ‘proper physical’ items in my life these days!

Something tells me the Machina release will be extra special, my Spider Sense is tingling that they’re putting extra effort into it… Well, here’s to wishful thinking: Ker-link. 8)[/quote:6kxkpouz]

Digital d/ls for me too, shipping cost is WAY too high to buy any of these physical copies these days…
