I dont think your stretching it….first of all, it fits the idea of the song quite well. Secondly, look at Zwan’s \" Ride the Black Swan\". The feeling of belief, or faith influence in BC’s writing can be seen even earlier in songs back to MCIS, even Gish if you look for them. I think BC has always had some kind of faith being brought across in the lyrics. Like i said in another post, i just never really saw it in 33 until you brought it to my attention.

My favorite line in 33 is \" So i pull my collar up and face the cold, on my own\". Just has a good vibe to it.

Let me get a little deeper… 2 years ago i broke my back at work, pretty bad. I was taken in and had a hell of a surgery to fix what was broken. When i woke up, i found out that the surgery went wrong, they took me back in 3 days later, to try and fix what the surgeons did wrong…i am now a incomplete paraplegic, what that means is paralisis from the knee down on my left leg, and 75% use of my lower right leg. 32 years old…no driving, no working, 3 kids, a wife, bills. SP was one of the biggest helps to regain and remind me of who i am inside, not what physical limitations i have. Now 2 years later, i can walk with a brace, and a cane…i was told i wouldn’t be able to. It was because of faith, belief, and staying positive. Pumpkins helped with that more than any damn high paid doctor ever did. That is where my emotional attachment lies. The importance of finding ones faith, be it religion, music, or where ever an individual finds it, is the first step in getting to where you need to be… without it, you can just be left setting in a wheelchair, waiting for nothing to happen.

I HONOSTLY couldn’t name all of the songs that i really dig that aren’t radio play tunes. It would be easier to name the ones that i dont like as much…..much shorter list that way! :P

Well, i was wrong…i got the red version, thats ok though. I really like the album alot! Each of the tunes is great in its own way. It definitly has a sound that differs from say…..MCIS to Machina. It has areas that remind me of Siamese Dream, older influence. At the same time, it takes on a new groove. Two thumbs up from this end…..PEACE

Capt…..EXACTLY! Ppl DO focus on the emotions that they choose to. The true range of emotion is NOT something you choose, its what you feel. To not allow sadness in, dulls the happiness that follows. You cant have one without the other. There is happy, there is sad, but more importantly, there are a million points in between. Its not a black and white situation. Ppl need to let in the grey. The ppl that dont let it in, dont fully understand the range of emotion Billy brings to the table.

After reading the response to my original question of wheres Iha, i have another. Is Zeitgeist part of just a reunion, or is it the beginning of The Pumpkins rebirth? I have been thinking of this as a one time only, its over soon reunion. Now im thinking this could be something thats gonna be around for awhile. Ohhh, please say its so, longer the better………Corgan for president

Billy Corgan is and always has been the driving force to The Pumpkins. As far as whos fault it is…. life is life. The creative mind that BC has, i think, allows him to have a little ….ego, or structure to the music in the way he wants and expects it to be. Creative integrity should be shown when the mind child of your own is born, its more like a pride in what you have created. So rock on Billy Corgan, rock on SP, rock on, and on, and on!!! Billy, KEEP IT COMIN’!

Actually since you own a copy of the song,(an original), its not illegal to create a back-up or have an additional copy to preserve the original.

I don’t know if Mayonaise is considered underrated, but its my favorite Pumpkins tune. As far as another, i would have to say \" Porcelina\", or \"Love\". There are quite a few songs underatted that only ppl that listen through the entire albums get to enjoy, almost not fair to the ppl that only know the radio played tunes. Ohh, i almost forgot….Ugly, and Aeroplane Flies High, and……..I of the Mourning……
