Honeymade OpiateSpectatorSo I’ve recently become interest in collecting vinyl (not just SP related.)
I figure this is the best place to ask questions like this…
Anyone know how many pressing each album LP has had and how to tell them apart?
(I try to buy original pressings where possible)Should the red mono adore LP come with some sort of lyric sheet/booklet?
(I recently bought this lp and its without lyrics…)Did Zeigest ever receive a vinyl release?
(I heard rumors but I dont think anything came of it…)Thanks

ArthurSpectatorCorrect, Zeitgeist was never released on vinyl so far.
You might want to start browsing our vinyl database first Skit, it’s here:
http://www.spfreaks.com/?page=COLLINDEX&cat=2
It contains all the genuine vinyl releases of the Smashing Pumpkins we know of, and we always try to update it with the most recent information. At the moment we are on 100 different releases exactly. Hopefully this is a bit helpful to you?

Correction: all.You are excused for making that note, as you couldn’t know that manilla’s and a few other brains are directly connected to http://www.spfreaks.com/?page=COLLINDEX&cat=2 . That feature is not yet available for everybody, we are now doing pilot tests. Keep you posted.

SkitSpectatorThanks alot everyone.
So I guess working out if a vinyl is a first pressing or not comes down to research?
Eg. Knowing what color vinyl the first SD pressing had.Or is there a simpler way?

ThomSpectatorFor gish you can do it by catalog number, mcis needs a numbered white box in the lower right corner.
