Honeymade OpiateKeymasterfrom each album below that you feel is classic Pumpkins, in that it would fit on any album they ever released. Here is what I think, still confused on a few. I’d interested in what you think would be good crossover songs from each album.
One thing I noticed is this got easier the more recent I got. I’m not sure if this is some indicator or more homogenized music or what, but after MCIS, it was easy. I’m just not super familiar with the Machina II songs (yet). Getting there…
Gish – Rhinoceros
Siamese Dream – Disarm
Pisces Iscariot – Obscured
Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness – 33
Adore – ???
Machina – Stand Inside Your Love
Machina II – ???
Zeitgeist – That’s the Way (My Love Is) -

blueczarinaSpectatori just heard that song a bit ago. its never been my fave really. i think its because it sounds a little churchy maybe?

AnonymousSpectatorchurchy? really? I just thought it was a really deep song that was coming from the heart.
To me churchy is…Praise ye the king, holy Father all mighty blah blah ..whatever etc..not familiar with too many of those tunes
So I guess we all have our own perspective on the music, which makes SP so unique

blueczarinaSpectatori don’t know. it is a deep song and its not a bad song, but i think i just can’t stand \"God\" songs in general. some folks in my family have made me a little repulsed by that stuff by going overboard with the religion crap. its more of a personal thing then a Billy thing really.
but otherwise i agree with the deep coming from the heart thing

DanniSpectatorWe do have to have in mind that it’s a nearly impossible task to pick ONE song from each album, but here is my list which I feel pretty confortable with:
Gish – Siva
Siamese Dream – Hummer/Rocket
Pisces Iscariot – Hello Kitty Kat
MC&IS – Jellybelly
Adore – Shame
Machina/The Machines Of God – Age Of Innocence
Machina II – HomeOr it could be different.

some pumpkinsSpectatorcool idea manilla. i think about this all the time! i guess i should put this in the \"you know you’re a pumpkin fan when….you think about making a playlist of songs from every album that all have the same vibe\" i like your choices. you kinda went with a mellow/pretty/sad vibe. i went a little crazy with this. i catagorized it by song style so no matter what kind of mood you’re in you can get a song from each album, and it will still flow. i dont expect anyone else break it down as much as i did, i just got carried away.
