for those of you wondering about my desktop pic. its from a movie for Ruslan and Lyudmila. i havn’t seen it though, i just found the pic. basically though its this epic poem by Aleksandr Pushkin, which was also made into an opera by Mikhail Glinka.
here is a translation of it. its super long and is set in old Kievan Rus. it also references several other old folk/ fairy tales like the witch Baba Yaga with her chicken legged house.

and it is kind of a different pic, but i like the sparkliness of it with the crystals and the colors. its kind of pearlescent looking.
i don’t know. something different- non SP, more color, maybe Russian themed, pretty. i just found this pretty picture from some Russian movie or something for the fairytale Ruslan and Lyudmila. i think i;m going to use this for awhile. i like Russian stuff and the pic is pretty.
