done? how about we do an elimination of the eliminations? as in: "which elimination thread do you think was most fun?"
of course there were too many to put into one elimination thread, so we should make a couple of rounds.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatori once bought that vinyl on ebay and the seller never sent it to me. i paid quite a lot for it too.

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorgosh i’m bored
toeme toch
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatornot mentioning triclops isn’t necessarily a mistake. that sounds a bit too harsh to me. ok, the information is not complete, but it says that cherub rock is taken from siamese dream. maybe they hereby suggest that you check out the liner notes of that album if you want to know more about the track?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatori think they can. it might not be legal, but i doubt there’s a big chance of getting caught. but for online stores it’s different: they don’t want to take any risk.
it’s the same thing with import taxes: big online stores always put the correct information on the package (\"commercial\" + exact price), smaller stores or people selling on ebay normally don’t worry about marking a package as a \"gift\".
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatoryou should try to find someone who lives there and can order them from those sites and ship them to you. (or just buy them in a store and send them.)
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatoryeah, there are some typos/mistakes in the description. kinda sloppy.
i wonder how the auction will do though. i kind of have the feeling that most people who are interested in these must already have most of them. this auction only seems interesting for people who are really into autographs and/or don’t have much vinyl yet, but are aiming for a complete sp vinyl collection.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorha, well spotted, sven. i didn’t really look at the radiohead cd. but now that you mention it, it does look shady too.
anyway, my point was, even if that radiohead cd is a real promo, that doesn’t prove anything about the sangatte records releases.sometime last year dazey shared a rip of his copy of the smashing pumpkins \"black sessions\" cd. i just checked the quality of the audio, and it is without a doubt mp3 sourced. so there you go. another argument. i haven’t listened to it recently, but i seem to remember this \"promo\" has all the imperfections the widely available recording of this show has, such as djs speaking over the music, etc.
another dodgy thing: check out the 3 different versions of the same cd here (a raveonettes \"black sessions\" cd): http://www.therebelinvaders.dk/Rave_Sit … ection.php
they’re not even made in the same year.
i think someone is just making extra copies as soon as the stock sold out.also, these are numbered. \"limited edition.\"
numbering promo cds is bollocks. it’s so typical for bootlegs.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorYou svine![/quote:1pn64zrs]

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorthere is no such thing as sangatte records.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorthe bootlegs in the grey sleeves have only been around for a couple of years. they weren’t released in 1993. right?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatori disagree with you, manilla.
black sessions is a real show. the logo also exists.
but that doesn’t make the many bootlegs any less of a bootleg.just to make it clear: i’m not saying this radiohead release is a bootleg. but the sp one is.
i believe frank black also has an official \"black sessions\" release. let me have a look for that one.
edit: can’t really find much, but here’s something: http://www.amazon.com/Black-Sessions-Li … B000007TU7
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatoris it the delabel promo with the green insert?

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorthe songs will be released one by one, so in a way every song will be a single.
if you’re talking about physically released singles/promos: dunno.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorexactly.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatoralso, who found that UK teitbite single that was added to the spfreaks collection recently? i never knew a UK release existed; i always thought all singles were made in germany.[/quote:2095uygc]
I was going through my collection and it just popped up. I’ve had it since that song came out (97? 98?) but just never really knew it.
BTW, I searched eBay and there are two of them on there right now.[/quote:2095uygc]
how do you know they’re the uk release? is it that clear from the picture/description?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorcool stuff, manilla. i’m curious about that red teitbite cd.
also, who found that UK teitbite single that was added to the spfreaks collection recently? i never knew a UK release existed; i always thought all singles were made in germany.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatornah, using the picture of a different copy to sell something like this on ebay.
oh, and also the whole ebay-mess he’s been going through. jesus.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorcorrection: you are like \"HUH???\"
i’m more like \"ok…\"
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorso they do exist.

highly interesting.
thanks, eazye.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorhow rude!
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorwhat happened, jawn till dusk? it’s back: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? … 0390383388
and it looks like he already sold the same promo before he sold it to you, to a certain andy, for £35, but then decided to relist the item anyway: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? … 0385706851
he even put the name of the buyer in the auction description, so it’s clear he put it up on ebay for this one person to buy.
he got negative feedback for not going through with the deal.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatori also have two different us disarm singles. the matrix code is completely different.
one cd has:
SP 1-1-5 EMI JAX
HUT00043-01 09-27-94
ifpi 163D[/quote:2u9230or]
the other one has:123548-C1-4070-2 DISCTRONICS USA **HUT48**
R[/quote:2u9230or]
note how it actually says HUT48 and not HUT43!reminds me of the two different american pressings of lull.
http://www.spfreaks.com/default.aspx?pa … &item=2065
http://www.spfreaks.com/default.aspx?pa … S&item=267and i double checked, and i can confirm that i don’t have any american i am one, cherub rock or today cd singles. just disarm. i remember looking for these, but never finding any.
