People never stop amazing me.
DanniSpectatori love offspring, and i think that vid is funny.
i was listing to smash. i love self esteem.[/quote:z1bxv3ht]
Ooh, I miss that 90’s "loser"-mentality. Back then it was "hip" to be a so called "loser". The glory days with artists like Beck, Offspring, Nirvana and such.
DanniSpectatorYeah. Following the death of ex-Hole basist Kristen Pfaff in April 1994, Corgan told Coutney Love that he knew a bad-ass bass player to fit the band. Auf Der Maur that is. So since like 94-95 she played with them. Also Corgan has known Matt Sweeney (ex-Zwan for instance) since back in ’89 or something I think, when he played in that band Skunk. One of Corgan’s favourite bands, supposedly.
DanniSpectatorHa, ha. Really.
That’s just a fake.
DanniSpectatorThat must be one of the coolest pics of a young Billy.
DanniSpectatorI’ve actually have heard of that band

Me too, I even have a cd by that band! If I remember well, something with a live stage and angel wings on the front artwork… can’t check it now, as lots of my cds are stored elsewhere. But it has to be said, they are not bad.[/quote:312rhu9m]High Visibility from 2000.
DanniSpectatorThanx Benway, at least I tried. Always worth something…
DanniSpectatorThe guy with the girl at 0:29-0:30 is a swedish actor who actually lives in the same block as me.
Also he’s a great jazz drummer and has in the late 60’s jammed with Jimi Hendrix amongst others.
DanniSpectatorthat song is not bad honeymade. i’ve never heard of them before.[/quote:28rfnq3x]
Hey, I’m glad that you actually like them!
They started out as a garage/punk-band in 1994 then heavily inspired by MC5 and Iggy and The Stooges amongst others. Over the years they’ve gotten a "cleaner" sound, not the least when they signed with Universal in 1999.
They are from Sweden. Or they WERE. They broke up in 2008 after 7 studio albums and several EP’s and split singles.
I’ve been a major fan of theirs since 1996.
But I think they are pretty established in the States after tours with MC5, Electric Frankenstein and the Datsuns to name a few…?
To again bring out the music-Hitler in me (like my girlfriend always complaints about
), I will post two more tune you guys should check out. Really.

The video is a smasher, the song is a killer.
Seriously, one of the greatest tunes of all time, this one!
Love the one angle video too.
DanniSpectatorWell I just might be interested in that Cherub Rock WLP and Daughter Flexi Promo. Maybe… I have to think about it. I’ve bought a lot of Lp’s lately. Expensive ones, non-pumpkins.
DanniSpectatorYay!
Got the P*U*L*S*E dvd by Pink Floyd from my girlfriend for me birthday today!
Finally. I just love this gig from Earls Court back in 1994.
Now you might wonder what this has to do with the Pumpkins. Well, I just discovered that William P Corgan sings on Wish You Were Here (haven’t seen it before) so it’s kinda’ Pumpkin-related. Or is it? Not?
A bit I guess.
Love the dvd though! You guys should check it out.
DanniSpectatorLook, my cat Bajse is on the cover of Style Magazine:
