manillascissorSpectatorThis is a very nice french cd promo, gatefold unique art etc, well worth the investment. I own a copy and these do not come up to often. I am sure there are people that would pay alot more for this. And a lot cheaper than other $1000 + french promos!!!!!!!!

manillascissorKeymasterI think the acetate for this is for sale now as well. Let me check.
But yes, Bryan, 70 Euro for this is pretty respectable.

ArthurSpectatormanillascissor is referring to this one:

I’ve seen that twice, and bought them both times. The highest price I paid was 75 Euro, while it’s more rare as the standard French promo for Greatest Hits that Bryan shows us.

SvenSpectatorthis IS the acetate… (the one in the top post and as such thus the one Arthur quotes up on SPFreaks)
all delabel promo’s from this era are cdr/acetates, aren’t they? -

Yeah somehow, but there are 2 different types Sven. A rather common type, which we just call a promo:http://www.spfreaks.com/Default.aspx?pa … LS&item=41 (the one on eBay)
And a bit more rare type which we call an acetate promo:
http://www.spfreaks.com/Default.aspx?pa … LS&item=40
The difference between these 2 are very obvious. The first 2CD set is packed in an artfully cardsleeve, they paid more attention to the cds itself and overall, it’s a promo that a label would be proudly sending around. The other one is just a CD-R set with a sticker slapped on it (which they indeed did more often at Delabel around those years) and the artwork: what artwork? Piece of b/w paper in a plastic sleeve… Very rare though.
