hehe, i think you need to get an exterminator Arthur to shoo away all the Pissants in this thread. its kick ass music- thats all i care about. [/quote:3cr3cxhy]
Couldn’t agree more.
jawn till duskSpectatorAll about the Bullet Train to Osaka!
Thread .. rerailed?
I agree about Perfect, great song that people tend to sigh since it’s single it seems, or call it 1979 pt 2 because of the video.[/quote:9zdjg0t3]
I thought that when i listened to the album the first time, before the video was out.
The reason the video was made in the vain of 1979 was because so many people said that it reminded them of the song.Billy mentions it on the great hits dvd,i’m sure.

This is my current favourite band from Manchester. They supported the pumpkins on 3 of their UK dates in febuary. The vid for ‘unfamiliar’ is heavily edited for a radio version, but you’ll get the idea.
Please take a little time to listen to the last 2. If these songs dont get you, emotionally, then you are cold as stone(or not).
jawn till duskSpectatorFirst time i heard it,i just thought\"2nd rate 1979\".
I was so critical of Adore when i first heard it.It nearly made me cry.Although, i ended up loving perfect.
jawn till duskSpectatorHOLY SHIT!
If that’s what you have after just six months………..
Did you remortgage your house?
jawn till duskSpectatorCherub rock/Today/Bullet……….Over played syndrome.
Annie-dog,i cannot stand.Won’t go into it,though.
Shame. Just dont get it.
Glass and the ghost/Crying tree/Blue skies…….ruins the album flow.(a bit self indulgent,i think).
7shades(almost sounds nu-metal)/Bleeding the orchid/For God and country.Just don’t get it.
There are other songs i dont love, but they dont bother me and i know i’ll probably love them at some point.
jawn till duskSpectatorWhat is this worth?
I’ve refrained from buying this previously because i was unsure of its value
jawn till duskSpectatorI came across these 2 favourites when searching for a Pumpkins fix. Awesome! My band!

I’ve never seen one.
jawn till duskSpectator33.
I remember when the single came out,and listening to the two cds on the way home from HMV in my car. It was obviously around the time of Jimmy being sacked and what not and i seem to recall thinking that, while thirty three was coming to an end,it sort of seemed as if the band were coming to an end in their existence. Then ‘the last song’ came on,and i actually thought,\"this is it,it’s over!\".It was a very sad moment because prior to the previous events,i was so happy that i finally got to see the band live(glasgow secc,10th may 1996) and i couldn’t wait to see where the bands direction would go after such a triumphant album/tour period.I thought this was the definite end.
Little did i know that the band would continue, but when first watching this video,i constantly had it in my mind that my first love was indeed dying.
But look at us now!

the railroad bridge (i live by the railroad tracks, no comments on that please)
Looks like the bridge from Stand By Me!
jawn till duskSpectatorNo problem!
Good of you to have a look for me.
jawn till duskSpectatorThat would be fantastic!
jawn till duskSpectatorGot the Mellon Collie promos!
I know they’re not that rare, but i just love them!
Still looking for a To Sheila, though.
jawn till duskSpectatorI’m not sure when, but did Billy not say recently, that Virgin were not going release it?
jawn till duskSpectator\"hey, that guy must have a vagina or something. poor bastard.\"
This just made me laugh so much!
jawn till duskSpectatorHow do you display a photo with the forum text?
I’m not trained very well in computers, haha!
jawn till duskSpectatorIt’ll probably end up being a very, very, very nice acetate rarity for somebody here to get their hands on!
Although,i would love to have a copy myself. The bootleg i have isn’t too bad quality, but a proper video recording would be immense, even just an audio recording.
jawn till duskSpectatorI seem to remember D’arcy,in a T.V. interview that she was more than happy with the Adore album, which was strange as she never really said much about album content.
This was during album promotion to be fair and Billy probably told her not to open her mouth.
jawn till duskSpectatorI think they should go for a new sound.
Something completely different to the back catalogue is what i’m hoping for.
Although, i would love to hear a completely orchestral abum. That would be immense!
jawn till duskSpectatorThat’s what i thought made it look photocopied, though.
Do you think this is a new find, then?
The print on the disc seems to be very fragile also.
