It’s so good to finally know for sure what’s going on… now we can rest at ease. Man, nothing slows this guy down… still ready to tour in a week! That’s nuts! Rock on Jimmy!

I found a link on http://www.hipstersunited.com/blog it says:

    Smashing Pumpkins postponed (UPDATED)
By Shane Harrison | Tuesday, October 30, 2007, 03:39 PM

    The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

The Smashing Pumpkins shows tonight and tomorrow at the Fox Theatre have been postponed because drummer Jimmy Chamberlain fell ill with chest discomfort and landed in a hospital, according to a press release at about 7 p.m. tonight. By doctor’s orders, he is to rest for seven days.

Promoter Rival Entertainment said it hopes to have new dates set within the next month. All tickets for Oct. 30 and 31 will be honored at the make-up dates so buyers should hold on to their tickets. If tickets need to get a refund, just go to your original place of purchase.

Come on guys, lets get our sh*t together.

We’ve all come here for one purpose and that’s to discuss our love for music. Now, I understand not everyone’s going to agree, and that’s great… that’s what makes us human. But there comes a point where you have to respect others opinion. Feel free to discuss things you do not agree on, by all means… but in a civilized way please! Opinions are wonderful things, when they are expressed cool, calm, and respectively.

Do you know how disappointed the band would be if they read our posts bickering back and forth about things that really aren’t that important.

The Pumpkins are all about honesty and love, so lets respect them and act as adults.

    Peace and Love,

K, I’m quite confused by your last statement, Satur999. What is the importance of these posts, and why did you post the LiveJournal link to begin with?

Well, I’ve been talkin’ to people and lookin’ up all sorts of bands. Most of the people that are interested are too far away… but I’m still searchin’. Good news is that I’ll be in the local newspaper soon for my poetry book, and in the interview I got to talk about my music and my website… so I think that will help me find some local people. We’ll see how it goes. My article will either be out this wednesday or next. I’m hoping it will be on their website too, if it is… I’ll be sure to give you guys the link.

Yeah, it doesn’t quite suit my voice (yet anyways), but it was fun to practice. Have you listened to the ‘Something to Talk About’ demo yet? Some people really like that one, guess it’s a bit easier for me.

I love that this has finally been confirmed. Maybe that Philly show was his way of telling us, that yeah… those rumors are so not true… without totally coming out and saying it and making VG go crazy. I think I may add VG’s new page to my MySpace… and then post that clip too. I like being a sh*t disturber some days. Hey, if you guys wanna add me on MySpace, that would be cool. My addy is:

He’s young at heart. We all know what comes with age though, wisdom. Billy sure seems to have a lot of wisdom, that’s for sure. But really, age is just a marker for how long we’ve been on this earth… who’s to say that it dictates how we feel, look, or act? I used to think that because I was becoming a certain age, it was time to get married and have a family. But then, I asked myself, is that what I really want? Am I going to do that because of how old I am? I decided then, to live myself for me. Start doing what’s best for me, and what I want. Because ulitimately, if you don’t live your life for you… it’s really not worth living.

Well, I’m Canadian… and you can call me a Canuck anytime, it wont hurt my feelings.

I decided to do a bit of research, as I was uncertain exactly what a \"Yankee\" is. Webster’s Dictionary defines it as: inhabitant of U.S.A., esp. of New England, or of the Northern Stages. -a. belonging to the U.S.A. From what I read the orgin of the word is from when British General James Wolfe referred to the New England soldiers under his command as Yankees: \"I can afford you two companies of Yankees.\" The \"Yankee and Pennamite\" war was a series of clashes over land titles in Pennsylvania, 1769, in which \"Yankee\" meant the Connecticut claimants.

Now let’s have some more fun, and look up Canuck: n. (sl) (French) Canadian. Wikipedia says: Canadians use \"Canuck\" as an affectionate description of nationality and the word carries no particular patriotic overtones. A few Americans misinterpret \"Canuck\" as an offensive noun but would be hard pressed to find a Canadian, French or English, insulted by the word.

So why can’t we all just get along???

I’ll be the bigger person here if I must, and say no harm was intended… and if I insulted anyone, I am deeply sorry.

To tell you the honest truth, I never really was that fond of Americans (sorry for those yanks out there). But I learned that it’s not the people I dislike, but it’s the politics I really don’t like. And from what I’ve heard a lot of Americans disagree with what’s going on with the wars and such as well. So now, I’ve learned to love the people… ah… isn’t that cute?

If anyone’s interested in listening… I have another demo done. Sorry, this time it’s not an SP song… it’s Bonnie Raitt’s ‘Something to Talk About’. Give a listen and let me know if I’m getting any better!

I’m just gonna see what happens right now. I still want to put up one more demo (since the max is 4), and I’m adding more and more bands everyday. I’m hoping that I will get a few offers and that way I can have my choice of where I want to go. At the very least, I’ll have fun and gain some experience… and maybe move on to something bigger. And if all goes well, I’ll have a successful career.

    *crosses fingers*

Ah thanks guys! You really are too sweet. I’m looking for a local band to join… so you never know… that CD might not be too far away. My friend has a band, I’m gonna see if they are interested in taking me on, and if not, I’ve got a promising looking response on my site today.

If any of you guys are MySpace members, feel free to add me… then you can get updates.

And don’t worry Arthur… there will be many thanks to you!
