Try, Try, Try (UK cardboard sleeve promo)Filled a couple of holes in the collection there!
VoidhangerSpectatorJust received my purchase in amazing condition – ridiculously fast as well, didn’t even take ten days. Thanks a lot Ayoe! If anyone’s hesitating to purchase, don’t!
VoidhangerSpectatorToday’s playlist:
AUTOPSY – Ridden with Disease
DREAM DEATH – Back from the Dead
ETERNAL DARKNESS – Total Darkness
FORCE OF DARKNESS – Force of Darkness
IBEX THRONE – Total Inversion
MASTICATION / EXHUMED – Wicked Material Sanity
VoidhangerSpectatorJust got my copy of Melon-Collie and the Infinite Ga Ga Goo Goo CD in the mail this morning. What a dorky bootleg. Great recording though.
VoidhangerSpectatorAfter receiving my copy of Complete Demos by DISMEMBER this morning, I’ve been listening to a lot of that today.
VoidhangerSpectatorListened to the following albums today:
AFFLICTED – Prodigal Sun
CREMATORY – Denial
LIMBONIC ART – Ad Noctum – Dynasty of Death
TORMENTOR – Anno Domini
VoidhangerSpectatorI’m hesitant to assign ratings to these, especially since I’m still letting this release sink in, but I definitely think \"A Stitch in Time\" is one of the best songs they’ve released in the recent past and even ranks pretty highly in their entire discography for me.
I’d probably rate \"Astral Planes\" lowest of the four, the lyrics are kind of annoying, and the other two songs hover in the middle somewhere as solid songs.
VoidhangerSpectatorI think that list is hit-and-miss. Some definite classics in there, but personally I can’t stand PANTERA. I’m surprised he picked God Hates Us All, SLAYER’s early work seems much more in his style. I know he’s stated his appreciation for BATHORY before, it’s too bad they didn’t make the list. It’s good to see MERCYFUL FATE in there though, I always knew the line in \"Tarantula\" was a (not-so) veiled reference to their album Don’t Break the Oath.
As a black/death metal fanatic, I wish there was a bit more of that in there, haha.
VoidhangerSpectatorHaha cheers amnesia. I’ll get back to your message shortly!
Yeah I was 99% sure this was a bootleg, especially since there’s already a Taiwan version of the album that looks nothing like this. It’s definitely a neat find, if only for the entertainment value. It’s a dorky release, but it still adds to the collection!
I’ll see what I can do about getting proper scans for you Arthur – I think my friend has a scanner, if he does I’ll get it scanned for you soon. I’ll be sticking around here for a while, actually it’s a miracle I haven’t joined this site years ago!
VoidhangerSpectatorThanks Arthur!
amnesia, taking pictures of it is a brilliant idea that never would’ve occurred to me! They’re not the best pictures, but here they are:
