jgfoxSpectatorThis happened in 2000, I think it was 12 September, a few days after Machina 2 was released. It was hosted by Sven (yes, the one and only!) and others (maybe Sven can tell us a bit more about this show?). But I have a copy of that radio show, and was listening to it. If I’m right, it has never happened before or after that, that a nationwide radio station paid so much attention to one band. But I might be wrong.
What struck me when listening to it again, is the tracklist of that whole show. It’s pretty good, it digs in the whole history of the Smashing Pumpkins. And they played Machina 2. EVERY TRACK OF IT! What do you guys say? Did such thing happen before? Ever heard of such radio marathon for 1 single band? This is what they played on that radio show, in this running order.
