Well, I’ve got ten songs (soundboard quality) recorded for Swedish radio in 2000 with SP. Just wondering if anyone of you guys are interested I’d be happy to share. I just don’t know how, I’m certainly not a computer genious.

    • #34771

what did you record it on? is it on cassette, minidisc, cd, …?
or did you save it as a file (/files) on your pc? and if so, what file format?

    • #34772

also, what show and what songs?

it’s not unlikely that these songs are already being shared everywhere. http://www.splra.org/wiki/index.php?title=Tsp2000-01-07

Yes indeed that actually could be the case here but no, that’s not the one. I guess it’s from Copenhagen, DK. Anyway, a channel called P3 Live recorded it. There are in crappy mp3-files, but the sound is as good as mp3 gets.

      Tracklisting anyway;

      1. Pale Scales
      2. Everlasting Gaze
      3. Glass
      4. Heavy Metal Machine
      5. Ava Adore
      6. Rock On
      7. BWBW
      8. I Of The Mourning
      9. X.U.Y
…….and the last one I really don’t know. William sings something about a song without lyrics, I guess you know which song we are speaking of here.

Fuck. This can’t possibly be the whole set. I guess the radio channel even could have re-arranged the song order. Can’t seem to find it, man.

These freaking computers are driving me nuts. Anyway, I think I just uploaded each file individually. Why did I do that? Shouldn’t one be able to upload like ten songs at a time in one certain folder? Hmm… :?

You should pack all the songs with Winrar or Winzip, then you will get 1 big file.
Do you have any packing programs on your pc ?
      If not, here you go.

i’m fairly certain that you have the 2000-01-07 show, from sweden.

they never played x.y.u. in denmark in 2000. also, the song order makes more sense.

and this isn’t such a strong argument, but it’s more logical that a swedish radio station airs a swedish show (and not a danish one, especially if a swedish one is available).

      check it out for yourself:

Yup, that must be right, IceCream. I know that P3 Live has on the other and aired some concerts from both Copenhagen, DK, as well as Oslo, Norway. They used to have 1h (I think) live performances every evening with various artists, and great sound quality.

So that concert was already available, eyh? :?

Thats right, P3 live does transmit from various countries, Oslo, Hamburg and even London.
Im looking forward to this year transmission from Roskilde festival (Denmark).

There are several recordings of radio broadcasts available. But that doesn’t mean your recording is redundant: everytime they aired it, they played different songs from the concert.

I don’t have time right now to look further into it. Maybe later. Thanks for sharing.

but are you guys talking about the show for the \"live machina\" boot?

nice wig billy, you kinda remind me of robert smith.

i really like this show, and not just for the high quality audio. but for the tonight tonight lyric fuck up and restart. james talking about how he had the bad duck. the downtuned versions of zero and tonight tonight. the heavy version of ava adore. (its really cool to hear that chorus with distorted guitar) and i love that instrumental intro to the show. i wish it was like a 10 min song. its so chill.

No, they talk about a Swedish show a few days before the (great indeed!) show from Holland you refer to.
