jupiterKeymasterWhat do you value the most in your life currently? It goes without saying that values change over time, but what do you value the most in your life today?
If what you value the most is a new change in your life, how did you respond to the change? Do you welcome change or refuse it? How have your values changed over time? What will you value in the future?

did you just quote yourself? is that necessary?
but i agree, celtic flutes do nothing for me, but i respect them. it’s cool. really don’t respect punk though.

manillascissorKeymasteri don’t know why i’m so hung up on punk. i just see a bunch of dirty hippy offspring rebelling against shit they think is important and nonconformist. however, go to any punk show and tell me if you don’t see spikes, dyed hair, combat boots with multiple metal laces, a stagnant \"unshowered funk\", plaid pants (red and black), and the same motherfucking drumbeat for every song. nonconformist, my ass. commercialism at it’s finest.
go. then tell me you didn’t see any of the aforementioned.

marigoldSpectatorWhat do i value?
my parents for helping me as much as they could
my friends for being around and putting up with me (and even the ones who I have to put up with )
my job because, although the pay sucks, I am involved in some really interesting and important work.and being able to listen to all the music available to us, having that access to it. Oh the wonders of technology!
If I have a gripe about something, I try to remind myself, I didn’t have to walk 5 miles to get clean water this morning…then my gripe becomes invalid!
speaking of punks (and I am not a fan of punk) – I value those musicians who are genuine with their music, those who go against the grain, and those who will try something different, also with other artists.

jupiterSpectatortrue \"punk\" is not commercial!
the genre of punk is very commercial and was the most popular genre until rap/hip hop came along

Yes, I value punk songs for what they mostly are: wake up calls, and fun to dance to like crazy (when I was younger ).

yeah, a lot of them are wake up calls, I am just not a fan of the style.
I did like a couple of songs by Big Audio Dynamite but I wouldn’t really call it punk…

manillascissorKeymasterthe only \"punk\" i’ve ever respected. mostly because i don’t classify it as punk. the name of the album, i think, is, the shape of punk to come. something like that…

ArthurSpectatorSo, Arthur and Bram….what do you value?[/quote:1e5kco54]
I value my friends, both irl and here on SPfreaks. I value justice, honesty, people caring. And I value good moments together, memories, a certain amount of pressure, stress and challenges to get me going. I value music that surprises me.And lately, I get a warm feeling when my baby son Aydan is smiling, and sleeping on my chest. 1 of those good moments.
