confuciousconfusingKeymasterI hate it when people refer to their children as kids. It’s not even a big deal, but it’s grammatically incorrect, and it drives me up the wall.

PipokaSpectatorit’s incorrect? really?
i think i’ve learned that at school ! -

manillascissorKeymasteris it because a kid is a baby goat?[/quote:3jwgedre]
Yeah, so when people say they took their kids out to eat, I always tell them I just let mine wander around the yard for a few hours. Much easier that way.

AnonymousSpectatorI am always trying to use the term children..I do catch myself ever once in awhile saying kid, but then I think I am talking about goats..lol and I didn’t give birth to no goats…
I think it’s a regional thing. some people just don’t even know what you are talking about if you use the word kid when speaking about your child or children… -

AnonymousSpectatorwell they sound like goats sometimes
haven’t seen them eat clothes, but my middle child took a bite of a video game (when he was 2-ish)
something I could envision an actual goat doing -

Return To ComfortSpectatorWhen a couple is in a truck and the girl scoots over to the middle of the bench so she’s \"next to her man\", uncomfortably straddling the stick shift. Come on, can’t you wait???? Ugh.

last_rose_of_summerSpectatori hate it when people ask me if my lip ring goes all the way through my lip. i just wanna say, no it goes halfway in then stops!

AnonymousSpectatorso if anyone has seen my myspace photos..you see my son has red curly hair-it’s the bomb..
well people have always came up to me since he was a baby and actually ask me if I dyed his hair WTF? why on earth would I dye a baby’s hair…and they still ask to this day if his hair is naturally that color…That drives me crazy!!! -
2008.10.21 at 2:59 pm #25823
last_rose_of_summerSpectatorthat’s pretty funny reggae… dye a baby’s hair! some people just don’t seem to have any common sense!
speaking of babies, i know lots of people do this, but i don’t like it when parents get their babies ears pierced while they are so little! i was in claire’s the other day and this lady got her baby’s ears pierced and the poor little girl was screaming so loud! it was terrible!

reminds me of the popcorn story from 3 weeks ago…I was helping my son do homework and the microwave finished popping popcorn..next thing I know I hear it going again. My youngest turned it on for a few minutes, yes minutes and it caught on fire..lol could have lit a cigarette off that fire
It was so smokey and disgusting..totally wanted to just vomit..my poor children couldn’t stand the stench either. And the microwave still works..lol

No, I did not light a cigarette with the fire from popcorn. It made me think of Superlord’s microwave cigarette lighting ability….It was Superlord who did that right?

last_rose_of_summerSpectatordo you hate me in the wintertime? that steering wheel gets pretty freakin cold ya know?
-
2009.05.29 at 2:33 am #25845
some pumpkinsSpectatorwintertime is a different situation. i can understand that. im talking about the tiny little old asian lady i saw today driving around in her brand new bright red maserati. it made me laugh. a little old lady with her white gloves on in a 100 something thousand dollar car.
i also don’t like the word \"bugaboo\"
i don’t know what it means, but it just bugs me. -

2009.05.29 at 12:57 pm #25848
last_rose_of_summerSpectatori don’t like it when rich people flaunt their riches. that old lady in that car sounds like she’s flaunting her $.
i don’t understand the point of anyone owning a car that costs more than my house!if i was rich i would not want to rub it in all the poor people’s faces
well not nessesarily poor people, just non-rich people, you know what i mean heheh.

2009.05.29 at 1:01 pm #25849
last_rose_of_summerSpectatorand i don’t know what bugaboo means either… but i remember when i used to work at walgreens they used to have these little wooden boxes for sale on the front register and they were called bugaboo because they had a little fake bug inside them and people would always open one up and get startled by the \"bug\" especially old ladies. they would be like, oh goodness! it was retarded
-

last_rose_of_summerSpectatorok here’s a pet peeve of mine…

-
2009.07.05 at 4:53 pm #25852
AnonymousSpectatormy pet peeve
people who feel they need to compete during regular conversation
is it necessary? It seems so childish. When you mention something and the other one didn’t like what was stated and feels the need to exaggerate and compete to make them feel better -
2009.07.05 at 4:59 pm #25853
DaysofthephoenixSpectatorPeople in my school did that all the time, everyone always had to compete with one another it was annoying.
Also, my friend always competed with me like that where she always challanged what I was saying to prove me wrong. She also contradicted herself a lot which got on my nerves.
So, it’s a safe bet to say I’m not friends with her anymore.

AnonymousSpectatorthat is yet another reason for the term ex husband
-
2009.07.05 at 8:17 pm #25855
last_rose_of_summerSpectatoryeah i hate that too… and also when people try to talk at the same time and it’s like they compete to talk louder over the other person’s voice instead of shutting the hell up and waiting their turn to speak. people at work do that a lot. it’s the reason i hate sitting in the breakroom at lunch time.
-
2009.07.06 at 3:01 pm #25856
AnonymousSpectatorrose…I know how that is but it is the mom in law who does that at times
A big pet peeve is when someone says they will do something and they don’t! that is annoying
-
2009.07.06 at 3:55 pm #25857
last_rose_of_summerSpectatoryep that is annoying too… even though i know i am probably guilty of that… i am very forgetful
-
2009.07.06 at 7:55 pm #25858
AnonymousSpectatoroooooooooooo^^^^ I don’t really do that
well I probably have, but I can’t think of any time it has happened-haha go figure -
2009.07.06 at 8:28 pm #25859
DaysofthephoenixSpectatorI also do that sometimes.
In my case it’s not that I forget so much, it’s that I get easily get distracted by other things and then I forget.
