The lyrics in Astral are non-existent. Major disappointment to me, given the other aspects of the song.

Well the lyrics in Astral planes are non existent but the lyrics in Widow Wake My Mind are just as annoying but you rated that higher.

The lyrics aren’t any better in that song with all the constant oh’s I have to suffer through.
I guess the music is better though than Astral planes, that song just makes me cringe.

That’s what everybody should do, I guess.

My figures are mentioned somewhere else on this forum already, i don’t recall them anymore… But in general I was quite happy with the recent material, except for Widow. That song doesn’t grow on me, I’m afraid. Well, whatever, still 3 more to enjoy.

Realistically if someone is going to give Glass & the Ghost Children and Thru the Eyes of Ruby a 10/10 and then give songs like Cherub Rock and Tonight Tonight a 9/10, do any of the new songs break past 5/10……doubtful. That being said, the new songs aren’t bad, just not realy comparable. And I think that is a fair assesment.

I’m hesitant to assign ratings to these, especially since I’m still letting this release sink in, but I definitely think \"A Stitch in Time\" is one of the best songs they’ve released in the recent past and even ranks pretty highly in their entire discography for me.

I’d probably rate \"Astral Planes\" lowest of the four, the lyrics are kind of annoying, and the other two songs hover in the middle somewhere as solid songs.

nice to see a few like Astral Planes
I can’t rate them…I enjoy each of them in their own respected ways…there are parts in WWMM that I really like the breakdown, Astral Planes is just Epic to me…SFAS nice and classic sounding, Stitch in Time is like being in another country-which makes me like it even more-it just doesn’t have a typical sound.
Over all I think TbK EP 1 is damn good!
Matter of fact I must go and listen again for the 50th+ time now since getting the actual EP
