Red? It looks more like a little bit darker orange. Hmmm…
A pink one would be nice -

EAZYE121SpectatorI have a quick question about the thickness of the vinyl….
I have a maroon(purple) one that is of normal thickness.
I also have an oranage one, but the vinyl seems to be a bit thicker, like a 180 gram record.
The black release is more like the thickness of the maroon one. Is this normal that the oranage one is thicker?

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorI do have lots of coloured Siamese Dream vinyls. I never noticed that the orange one was heavier, but if I find the courage, I will check on it.
How orange is your orange vinyl? Is it really orange, or rather peach? And is it all orange, or can you see other colours as well? (White, yellow, red, or black?)

some pumpkinsSpectatoride have to agree that your orange vinyl seems to be thicker, although you did take the orange picture from closer up.

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorI compared my SD vinyls. Some vinyls are indeed more flexible than others. I guess this could indicate that they’re not as thick/heavy.
I don’t have a scale, so I can’t weigh them. And I don’t trust my hands to precisely feel the difference in weight between two vinyls.I call the vinyl colours you have black, purple and peach.
In my collection, the black and the peach vinyl feel similar, the purple vinyl seems to be a bit thinner.I also compared with the UK Hut release, and that one is also thicker. But I really doubt any of the Siamese Dream vinyls weigh 180 gram.

the purple ones being/feeling lighter does make sense-
it’s somewhat translucent/transparent vinyl with colour swooshes—
i.e. – non-solid vinyl like the black or orange ones which tends to have a higher density normally- -

You mean there are black swirls in the colored (maroon & purple) vinyl? I guess when they create the marbled, colored vinyl, they try to be creative and mix a few colors here and there, including black… Or do you mean something else? -

Please help me someone, I think I’ve gone colourblind.
I’ve got this one. Is this the same? First pressing? I was fortunate and I got it really cheap at an auction for $28.
