Siamese Dream Screen Raver query

\"I got that ‘screen raver’ disk at Kemp Mill Records, I think in 1994. SD had been out for a while at that point, and they were giving it away as a promo if you bought some other album. My copy of SD was on cassette, so I think I had to borrow a CD copy from someone else to make it work. Anyway, I used the disk in my dad’s computer and it got a virus… and my dad blamed the SP disk, so he threw it out. This is the first time I’ve ever seen anyone else refer to that SP computer disk! Always wondered if anyone else got a virus?\"

Did anyone else have this problem?

Oddly, I’d just seen one of these on eBay and then read this afterwards…

Definitely recall the Virus scenario from back in the day, but don’t believe it’d be released with one on it. Afaik (which isn’t far), it would just ‘seem’ their Disk caused a ‘false positive.’
