Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorIs that a numbered copy? I can’t make the pictures bigger as eBay is semi-blocked here at work.
I wouldn’t mind selling my copy for $500. Ha.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectator\"those who invent have never lived (?)\"
interesting.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorcheck this poor single out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi … 0718645203
do you agree with me that the signatures are fake?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorhahaha
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorBy the way. Which label released the Skysaw 7"?[/quote:3edn58g3]

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorIs this really Pumpkins related?
I got the Skysaw 7" at RSD.[/quote:11xrur2z]

Bram, if you ever have the time, can you check if the CD contains a release code? Maybe it looks like the matrix code 72 4384902124D2?[/quote:39ycx9xi]
Arthur,The release code is identical to the US version: 7243 8 49021 2 4JK
This code is present on the cd (hardly readable, just like all the rest) and on the spine of the sleeve. Just like the US version. (The EU version sleeve doesn’t have a white spine with text.)
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatori’ve recently seen a pink copy on ebay and it had quite a bit of black marbling going on. now that is what i think we could expect from not cleaning the plates.[/quote:2jb603mq]
here’s the picture from the auction:
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatori don’t like it.
fits really well with the other teargarden crap though.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorthanks for your input, sven.
so you’re saying that the intention was to only make black and pink vinyls, but for some unknown reason, about 300 grey copies were pressed. and you do agree that this was an accident, but that this very likely has nothing to do with the story of not cleaning the plates between the two different colour pressings. right?i’ve recently seen a pink copy on ebay and it had quite a bit of black marbling going on. now that is what i think we could expect from not cleaning the plates.
unfortunately i forgot to bid on it and it went to someone else for a fairly cheap price. i’m still angry at myself for that, as i was prepared to pay a decent amount of money for that copy.
i’ve got the picture from the auction saved on my home pc. i’ll post it here when i’m at home and think of it. (probably next week.)
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatoryeah, i think $22 or even $17 is too much to get them all. affordable if you wanted to buy the one or two shows you went to, but that’s about it for me.
if they were $10, i’d probably buy them all. on the other hand, they’re still cd-rs.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectator$21.95 per show (shipping included)
or about $17.91 if you buy all shows together

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorAnd Canada yes, you’re right! Just checked that, but why isn’t it on SPfreaks yet? Who has it?[/quote:2jz1owz3]i emailed scans and info to spfreaks.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorwow.
you even got a guitar signed by bc and jc. where did you get that? i thought billy didn’t sign instruments.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectator
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorexcellent.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorvery, very good. well done, arthur.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorwow, cool find. let us know if it’s released through virgin or any of it’s subsidiarys, please.
[/quote:krdqlkkh]
yes, it’s released by virgin.
the sp song is disarm.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorregarding selling today: i don’t think he sold the song. i think he just allowed them to use the song in a commercial. i don’t think they own the song now. or do they? can they now start releasing compilation cds with today on it? doubt it.
actually, i’m pretty sure the record company still owns the rights to the recording, so billy wouldn’t be able to sell that, even if he wanted to.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatori have it. and i never realised until someone pointed it out.
i didn’t know it wasn’t on spfreaks.com yet. you can bug me for scans and details now.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorStill Becoming Apart. That promo came with some Machina, The Machines Of God CD albums in the US and UK/EU early 2000.[/quote:1qzbyp64] Don’t forget Canada.
And there’s a difference between owning the rights to a song (Billy owns all the rights to his songs) and to a certain recording of a song (the record label owns the rights to almost all released recordings and more). By getting his tapes into the Library of Congress, I assume Billy only took care of the first part ("these are my songs").
I’m not entirely sure how things work, or how they were arranged by contract back in the day, but I assume if the record label paid for the studio, they ended up as the owner of the recordings. Dunno. Seems to make sense that they’d do it like that or in a similar way.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatoralways welcome to come over and help emptying my fridge.
