Oh, I agree, they look real. I would be surprised if these were fake.But this is clearly the same seller, and all of a sudden, he’s selling unnumbered copies. This proves the theory that he somehow got his hands on a pile of unnumbered copies, and has been numbering plenty of them himself before, in order to get more money on eBay.
It seems like he got smarter now though: he waited a couple of years, then sold #1/1000 for $405, and is now no longer going to risk his neck by selling more low numbers (too suspicious), so he’s simply selling unnumbered copies.
I expect another low number (#4/1000?) in a couple of months.looks like the q101 seller is back with another copy.

just won an unnumbered strange fruit 10\" on ebay. i don’t think i’ve ever seen this for sale before.

Yeah, it’s not really clear how limited this is. Maybe they’re waiting to see how many pre-orders there are before they decide on a number.
I don’t care though. Limited just means they’ll only make a certain amount and then that’s it. Highly limited? Well, it’s all relative. I personally wasn’t expecting a release of only 500 numbered copies.And I think the price is fair. You’re not just paying for two songs on vinyl. I think that’s a wrong way of thinking. You’re also getting the four free songs, but now on cd. That’s also worth something. And apparently, the cd also contains instrumentals. And it comes in a nice box. (I assume nobody cares about that obelisk, so let’s not add it to the calculation.)
I’m not pre-ordering yet though. I have my doubts about the April 20th release date.

you’ll never get that much. this one only went for $405 because it was numbered with the fake #1/1000. i feel sorry for the winner who is getting ripped off.
