DanniSpectatorMayonaise:
Yeah, it totally did!
Really? There were lots of them when we ordered ours, and still it was like a few days after they starting selling the tickets…This is only for you then (well infact every SP-fan), I recorded a bit from Perfect that night and United States (but the quality is quite poor on that one though)…
Enjoy!

DanniSpectatorI also got some cool pics at their gig in February, 2008:

Yup. "That’s James Hetfieldin the corner!!"
DanniSpectator
DanniSpectatorBring ’em in, all of them! Show off your goodies!
My latest find is this funny 4CD promo box set from France called "Virgin Delights" released in 2001. It contains the track Untitled and the full artwork of this beautiful promo box with 4 CDs individually packed in cardsleeves can be admired on SPfreaks.com since a few minutes.

Well I just HAD to go and buy the SD, Pisces Iscariot and the Mellon Collie Cassette tapes just for the nostalgia flashback. The other day i also bought Lull 12" and Disarm 12"…..
DanniSpectatorI’ve listened a lot to
Holly Golightly & The Brokeoffs – Dirt Don’t Hurt
E.S.T. – Leucocyte (E.S.T. = Esbjörn Svennson Trio)
Paul Weller – 22 Dreams
Menahan Street Band – Make The Road By Walking
The Kills – Midnight Boom
The Foals – Antidotes
No Age – Nouns
Wolf Parade – At Mt. Zoomerand
Mudhoney – The Lucky Ones[/quote:1y5dwafm]Ah, so you’ve heard of E.S.T? Well, of course I guess they were pretty big even outside Swedish borders…
A pity Esbjorn passed on last summer. They were great live. "The Lucky Ones" are cool!
DanniSpectatormr.benway:
Thanks!
DanniSpectatorthats pretty cool item for sure
i haven’t ever bought Nirvana collectables though. i do want the poster from their last gig though and the Sub Pop Love Buzz single. i almost one the poster on ebay once, but i got outbid [/quote:3g6ma3ch]
A friend of mine was going to see them in Sweden in april 1994. He had bought the ticket, and of course due to Kurdt Kobains suicide there was no gig so he actually sent back the ticket. How stupid wasn’t that?
That ticket could be worth something today perhaps.
DanniSpectatori like some Foo Fighters songs, but i have never bought any of their albums. i do like Nirvana though! [/quote:1rn6skt1]
Then check THIS out! I found a guy who’s selling this:
DanniSpectatorHe he, yeah you got me there for a moment!
I would go nuts if it didn’t work out once again.
Me neither except their debut album and when Pat Smear was with them.
DanniSpectatorOkey folks, I’ll try uploading the photos again, hopes this comes out OK.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
DanniSpectatorOh! Can’t you see the photos?
I’m pretty new at this uploading photos via url-thing.
I can see them on my screen. Maybe it’s not jpg? Next time I’ll try Imageshack maybe? [/quote:2ohmn2xm]Thats why i was joking around with those squares and white squares bla bla, because we could not see them pictures, only squares.
You probo thought i was a fruitcake or something because i was typing that squares nonsens. [/quote:2ohmn2xm]Aha, sorry I will try opluading them again! This time correct!
DanniSpectatorPipoka is correct.
Use the [/quote:1cjydg6r]
I’ll try that next time. Computers can drive a person wild and crazy.

DanniSpectatorHoneymade Opiate
are you sure the photo link ends in .jpg ?
Pipoka:
I really don’t know..
Why?
DanniSpectatorHmmm…. I haven’t even come across one of these before. Think I’m gonna go right away to the nearest optician. [/quote:1ci03jb0]
Go to tinypic if you want to upload a few images and embed them here. It’s the best way if you don’t feel like registering for accounts and stuff with photobucket/flickr et al.[/quote:1ci03jb0]
Thanks! I will check it out.
DanniSpectatorHmmm…. I haven’t even come across one of these before. Think I’m gonna go right away to the nearest optician.
DanniSpectatorRight.
One question:
How do you determine the original unnumbered pressing from the new fake unnumbered pressing? LOL. Impossible?[/quote:24d23wll]
I’ve heard only the numbered are "real"? However, there are 15000 copies numbered.
DanniSpectatorAha. I would never have figured out this was actually Jimmy.
DanniSpectatorYes, it’s Jimmy.
You can here Billy too, here and there.[/quote:ngy3xu36]No way!!??
How do you know that?
DanniSpectatorjust wondering what the spfreaks are listening to. doesnt have to be pumpkins, but it should be.
on the way to work i listened to mellon collie disk 1, then jellybelly again, an ode to no one again, and here is no why.
during work time (i get to drive sometimes) i put in the judas o cd and listened to saturnine (i fucking love this version), marquis in spades, blissed and gone, lucky 13, and my mistake. then i put in my machina 2 booty and listened to slow dawn and dross.
on the way home i put on mellon collie disk 1 and listened to jellybelly, an ode to no one, muzzle and porcelina. then listened to gish twice. "im going crazy…. motherfuckin crazy" lol
im a cd person. i haven’t embraced mp3 players yet.[/quote:1d91omuj]
Oh well, I listened to Surferosa’s debut album, the watched Pink Floyd’s PULSE dvd (it totally kicks ass!) then put on my Tristessa 12" (Sub Pop version) then some Chainsaw Kittens, then I ran the whole thing backwards!
DanniSpectatornot bad..I kinda like them…
They have been around for sometime right?[/quote:1uakqjxz]It’s actually pretty funny when you think about it since the Kittens were around at the same time as the Pumpkins 1988-2000 and then did a reunion gig only in Norman, Oklahoma in april 2008. But I guess the band was called a "commercial failure" despite having Butch Vig producing their 1992 years classic "Flipped Out In Singapore". Also the band released their self titled album in 1996 on James Iha’s Scratchie label….
DanniSpectatorI’ll also go for Bootie (does that have a cough-cough meaning in the USA, manilla?).
One of the acoustic tracks I heard was seemingly a high-quality version live song, found on other silver CDs.
I can’t imagine Virgin releasing anything along those lines, so hopefully useful. [/quote:3id3pzlj]
I bought it pretty cheap, for like $8 on the swedish equivalence to ebay.com.
Here it’s listed as a bootleg though : http://www.spfc.org/songs-releases/boot … oot_id=129
DanniSpectatorSo I’ve recently become interest in collecting vinyl (not just SP related.)
I figure this is the best place to ask questions like this…
Anyone know how many pressing each album LP has had and how to tell them apart?
(I try to buy original pressings where possible)Should the red mono adore LP come with some sort of lyric sheet/booklet?
(I recently bought this lp and its without lyrics…)Did Zeigest ever receive a vinyl release?
(I heard rumors but I dont think anything came of it…)Thanks
[/quote:1le1bvdg]Here you find all the songs and albums, when clicking on it you can see the pressing of each album.
DanniSpectatorTo be honest, I didn’t even know it existed… But Mary Star Of The Sea was released on vinyl also, obviously. Anyone in need of this? Buy Now for 55 EURO.
http://cgi.ebay.de/ZWAN-smashing-pumpki … 0292773209
Or a bit cheaper here, for 42 EURO.
