TBH I’d actually prefer having the letter than the snare!
Theres something about collecting musical instruments purely for the sake of collecting them that doesn’t sit well with me *shrugs*

i would like to have it just because of what it is, a piece of sp history, but i way don’t have enough money for it, but i put it on my watch list to see what it goes for.

jimmy chamberlin auctioned some of his drums a couple of years ago. if i remember it correctly, it was around the time his solo album came out. this must be one of them.

no, no, no, not \"could be\". i think we can be certain that this is one of the drums that were auctioned earlier.

it also explains why it comes with the letter. if jimmy would have simply given it to a friend one day, i’m sure he wouldn’t have done the effort to provide that letter.
