Collecting aything besides SP?

Just curious if you big shots collect any other artist/band/group besides SP, or is it SP only?

Plain curiosity.

I have all cd releases of 1 other band: Reboelje. Around 30 cm of cds. I can understand nobody knows them, it’s a Frisian rock/theatre conceptual band that split up a few years ago, unfortunately. They played gigs and theatre shows for more then 15 years, I have seen them many times. The most awesome show I saw was in 1995: \"De Brulloft, It Ferhaal Fan ‘N Branmerke Famke\" (The wedding, or: the story of a stigmatized girl). I will never forget 1 haunting rocksong in that show that was about the moment when the father took sexual advantage of his young daughter, brrrr… Cool anecdotes also: when 1 rare old cd single was not available anymore, the now ex-manager of the band made a special copy of his own for me. Awesome.

This was 1 of the concerts I attended, back in 2002.

if i like a band, i will often switch to \"collecting mode\" for a bit. this usually means trying to get all their albums, and sometimes a single or an ep here and there. at that moment it’s proper collecting. trying to collect it all. it doesn’t matter if they’ve made one bad album, i’m also going to get it.

i’ve done this for many bands. sometimes i also buy promos, and albums and singles on vinyl. but it’s never as bad as with the pumpkins.

hmm, ok, i take back my dust comment then, after some consideration and recollection.

there area few bands i have almost all albums:

the only other one that comes close though, is deftones. i have the first album on promo vinyl, all the 7\" singles (promos as well), and two demo cassettes of theirs.

Yeah,thats for the boxset of black vinyls.

I bought the seperate colour vinyls.

yup deftones. ttt (crosses), chino’s side project band has a limited edition vinyl (500), that will be purchased as soon as money allows…
