Hey there, i recently read on spfreaks about the fake mellon collie vinyl floating around, and it got me thinking how many fake sp shirts i have seen recently. Being a Pumpkins fan for a long time now i know a real shirt from a fake, and have gathered a few links from ebay to show you what people are doing to try and make a buck. Personally, I don’t think it’s right for these fuckers to take advantage of newer fans that may not know the gear is unofficial, and also, I don’t feel they have the right to steal the pumpkins logo’s and what not either. Take a look at these links:

The other three i spotted are not so much ripping them off, as they are \"customizable t-shirts\" but still could mislead sp noobs:

The worst culprit here seems to be the webstore \"doondie apparel\" on ebay, as they have a number of different fake items listed, and a very gay looking male modelling the shirts. I sarcastically asked them a while back in a question on ebay if these items were indeed official, in which i received a reply that yes, they were. Knowing that they blatantly lie angers me. I have seen many other fakes listed on ebay, but have since been removed. One of which is now on another website and the link is below. I am trying to bring this fake merchandise warning to everyone i can, and would love to be able for mr. corgan himself to see these rip-off’s. I figured I would bring this to your attention as well, because you are the most in-depth pumpkins site around.

i have seen these shirts also, and didn’t even think to say anything about it. but yes, there are lots out there. i always look for ones that are orignal, but the one that i got from the ashville residensy, they didn’t try and make it sound like it was offical, i knew it wasn’t, but it was a darn cool one anyways. maybe you should put a link to the orignal t-shirts and such on the homepage, since alot of people come here for thier sp merch info.

They look like the kind of things you buy on the stands at a gig- they look and most probably are unofficial. It’s very pathetic that they’re lying about it, though.

Actually, at the concert in my city, Billy scolded a fan for having an unofficial t-shirt XD.
