yeah, there were a lot of hollywood deaths this last week. according to TMZ he had a Demerol shot not long before he went into cardiac arrest.

    • #37381

It’s a shame. I was never really a fan, but I respected his contributions to the world of music. And he’s just so iconic, it’s crazy.

All the MJ jokes that are cropping up are really annoying, it must be said.

yeah, i wasn’t a hardcore MJ fan either, but it is too bad.

I don’t want to spoil the moods here, but it doesn’t do me much, that Michael Jackson passed away. Years ago he already looked like a ghost of a shadow of a ghost, and now his time has come, obviously… It’s OK.

And besides the moonwalk and that song \"Beat it\", that was not bad, he didn’t do me much music/dance-wise either…

Bye, bye, have a great time where-ever you are, Mr Jackson… :)

i’ve had a Demerol shot before and it didn’t work for me :(

awww I loved me some MJ but then again I love getting my groove on :D
      He RAWKED!!!

i had demoral when i had my apendix out, but it didn’t really do too much for the pain. he must have had alot.

he had some good music, but i’m not sad or anything.

      i’m not sad either.

and i guess he called his demerol a demerol tonic. i think they still need the results of his toxicology report.

rust in peace? i didn’t know he was made of metal. i have never seen anyone’s death affect THE WORLD as much as his has. he’s bigger than obama, princess di, and mother teresa. those are the 3 most famous people i can think of that the world knows.

Yeah, he’s made quite an impact on the whole world. The most tragic thing about his death isn’t his death alone. It’s all the money his death will generate. Just like the death of Elvis did. It’s really bizarre.

Private sellers are already seeing their great chance to get overprices on Jackson items. You know, last night I saw a sealed copy of the Thriller LP on eBay. 2h left on the auction it was still on appr. $1,500! One thousand fivehundred fucking dollars. And now Sony will probably be milking the system for all that it’s worth.

      Circus Jackson has left town.

      good point honeymade.

i forgot the pope. when he died like 4 or 5 years ago, there was a reaction like this. although there were no pope albums to capitalize on and put up on ebay.

It doesn’t show in the inflation figures of the US yet (on the contrary, see link below), so that price is slightly over the top…
