the government has managed to put the scare tactic that muslim equals terrorist and because Barack has a ‘different’ name then our culture is used to, people automatically attach muslim to him, which equals terrorist in their eyes, based on their little knowledge about things in the greater world. They are taught what they only want know and want to believe. And then there is the color issue….
I have a hard time wanting to believe people’s ignorance on someone’s color. it’s just kills me that people are afraid of skin color…My husband is black and my children are mixed, obviously
anyways there are many people who are accepting of different races, but there are many who don’t and there are many who pretend they aren’t had go behind closed doors and start saying disrespectful things about other races. It’s a fact. i believe my brother is a hidden racist. seen it heard it….he just doesn’t get it and doesn’t want to listen-keep on drinking, smoking stuff and lord knows what else.. He didn’t want to vote Obama because he is one of those afraid he is going to take control and the white people will be slaves..WTF???we grew up in the same house, but he’s a drunk, mouthy, racist. you can’t say you’re not and then turn around and use the term ‘nigger’ cuz your pissed at whatever or whoever race or not…it’s just disrespectful..same with using the term gook, cracker, honky, wetback, or chink, muslim=terrorist and so on…or name yourself the kkk for video games..To me that is racist feelings coming out…deeply hidden or not
I dislike to see my children having to see people act so disrespectful towards a skin color or someone’s beliefs…..We are different (boy, girl, man ,woman, skin& hair color, beliefs), but we are the same(brain,heart,lungs,), We are all one!! It’s about having a positive mind, positive attitude, seeing the simple things, enjoying them, listening to them. It’s life we all have it and we should all embrace it with love. Love comes in colors I can’t deny!! Think about it.
So yeah educating people who are unaware of the beauty in people and cultures of the world is very important on getting the US and the rest of the world in a much better position for mankind!!!hopefully you get it back by the end of tonight…I can’t imagine being without power in a winter storm. That would be weird. never know we could have it happen too

i made it.
it was cold though and the roads sucked- still do. its funny though because its all glass windows, and a glass entry way with a glass door in front of me in the ER and we can see maintenance running around knocking snow off of the roof and the trees. its kind of entertaining.
and i hope my power is back on at home too. it sucked getting up at 4:00 am and having to get ready in the dark by flashlight.
