I just got these. A French compilation and a French Ava Adore promo? or something.

I love these, big fan of French SP items (millions to collect still though).

    Looks like the one, A.

    Here it is on eBay.

The one I have is box-free, which is a shame.

Nice items in this thread. 8)

My collection growth’s stalled for a while now (unless I sell my only spare kidney also), so I treated myself to this Digipack recently – in ‘Zeitgeist Red.’

The discs are silver-bottomed, not gold. :)

    Welcome aboard, frenchcollectors. :)

Beautiful collection there and an inspiration, from the land of many great SP items. 8)

To start off with, this might be a ‘lil bit of new info for someone (although you’d want to change to .com on most unless you’re in the UK too). For official and mainstream releases I’d stick to big name sites, who usually compete with each other and give you the best prices overall.

My favourite three are play.com, amazon.co.uk and hmv.co.uk here. I basically play them off against each other.

Take Gish on Amazon for example, use this rather than buying the first item that’s listed:

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B000000 … dition=new

eBay’s often nothing more than what you’re willing to pay, of course. I once saw a Gish go for $45-odd USD. On the link above I can see one for around $10… Brand new; just the same as what’s available from typing Gish in the main search box.

    :)

I’m wondering now if Billy ever considered renaming the band to Smashing PLUMkins…

    Nice one, cheers A.

I’m addicted to David Gilmour and Bowie’s Arnold Layne currently, just can’t play it once at a time only… :)

    yay!! i can’t wait!!

oh, and can you include prices? i always want to know what is a good price to pay for something. if you can’t that is ok too.

    and again

    YAY!!

(and your special cause i don’t usually use any caps :D )[/quote:1qi3r2wc]

The "prices" idea sounds like a great thread/topic – very difficult on some items, though… Why not create one and then whatever fellow Pumpkins are thinking of next, they can post and receive opinions on whether it’s worthwhile? 8)

I’ll start: Gish (retail album version) probably wouldn’t be a bargain at $150 USD.

Here’s a ‘lil rip from an Amateur-made disc that I picked up in Paris about three years back. :)

It’s a bit quiet and incomplete, probably the Audio #1 source:

Looks like I’ve been short-changed on the brand. :? Looked everywhere for those words, all I can find is ‘Samsung Digimax A400’ on this here digicam. :)

It needs to be bright in the room (preferably sunny), so I’ll post back if I can take a pic or maybe shoot a small .avi vid.

Snow here today, the clouds probably imported it over from Siberia.

Correct answer, A. :) I try to up something once a week, so always check on Fridays in case there’s something of interest.[/quote:39arpul6]
You mean on Zomb, right, Dazey?

Was that cardsleeve made as an exact copy of the original? To be honest, I would have been fooled if there wasn’t the year 2008 on the disc…[/quote:39arpul6]

Yeah, I’ve been there a year now and always treated well. I’ll have exhausted my offerings by this years’ end, it’s nice to feel I’ve "given something back."

I just checked my secret (sshh) Factory and they say our new reproductions are bettering by the day.

In future, I won’t need them from Canada. :D

Gorgeous cassette and I’ve also not seen this anywhere before now. Thanks for sharing it. :)

I’ll second it being released with a Siamese Dream album, if I’m not mistaken the Gish tape was at some point…

I thought I’d visit eBay as it’s been a while.

Grabbed a Live Earth (with Alicia Keys) CD from the US. I’m not sure what it’ll look like, one of those ‘non-pic’ listings I’d normally avoid. :)

This is the DVD pic, so I presume it’ll look the same or similar…
