what if…..
Billy and Jimmy had all this pre planned before the big advertisement went out in the Chicago newspaper about him wanting his band back-I mean sure he and Jimmy talked so Jimmy had to know before hand he was posting that ad.
The plan was to pull out a rock album and tour with it and just try and kickstart the name Smashing Pumpkins back in people’s minds. Then the 20th anniversary came along BUT they both knew all along that Jimmy wouldn’t stick around after the 20th tour, (like a drama movie) and now it’s just Billy.It was the way to get the band going again knowing Jimmy wasn’t staying…and putting together a new SP band for this generation-but still having the master singer/songwriter at it
I bet they are both still communicating with each other…Isn’t Billy a little guilty of liking some drama
