(fyi, we have an unwritten rule here – only Arthur may use the sun-glass smiley. If you do good, he lets you use them for a set number of posts although they are getting pretty sparse… )[/quote:3fdyi3pf]
Arthur has a monopoly on some emoticons?

blueczarinaSpectatorso Jimmy’s drinking again, is he?
blueczarinaSpectatorAs a fashion design student, I must say my heart breaks a little every time I see the Pumpkin’s outfits How can Billy make such great music, but dress so bad.

Yes and no. Yes, to each their own, of course, I agree. But I think it makes sense to discuss the Pumpkins places that matter, and are worthwhile to visit often. What you like there and what you don’t like there. And stating what is wrong in the policy of, for example, Netphoria makes sense too I guess. I mean, that Siamese Dream journalist guy was flamed over there, and will be remembered by many people as \"Chris, The Cover Girl Raper\" or something. I dare myself (and you, if you’re with me) to speak out against such tendencies, instead of slowly picking up that primitive atmosphere, and go down the drain with them. That’s why debates and discussions like this are cool.[/quote:2siio1ff]
I do agree that the more egregious crap on some message boards like Netphoria should be discussed. Its wrong to ignore, especially since we all poke around the Pumpkin sites. I was kind of half joking, as this conversation was taking a slight turn towards unifying the many faces of certain users. But otherwise its a valid topic for discussion.
blueczarinaSpectatorif your microwave can light a cigarette, i think you need another. sounds like it might be a fire hazard.
blueczarinaSpectatorcool, i’m waiting for a couple of french promos, too. machina and adore.

SPFREAKS is not any of those places. any see-through bullshit will not be tolerated. end of story.
if you wish to draw attention to yourself in a negative way, that’s fine, but you will not do it here. [/quote:2aog068z]
i agree. might as well all get along and stop scrapping over, which forums suck. to each their own.
blueczarinaSpectatorcool, which ones?
blueczarinaSpectatorunfortunately it might be true to the actual exchange
blueczarinaSpectatorhe does say that. i wonder if he did?
blueczarinaSpectatorWhen I went to blamonet I saw a few vulgar threads. There seems to be a few sections devoted to crap, ie. \"the man board\" part (take a look at the threads). I just think its inappropriate, but I suppose I would (not a dude). Thats more of a comment about the site overall though, not just the Pumpkin part. I don’t use the site. Its certainly not as bad as Netphoria (that would be hard to beat). Like Arthur said though, forums are public places and I just don’t like seeing any profuse swearing or vulgarity. If its a forum site that is open to a general audience of any age or gender, I just like seeing posters with a greater degree of respect. This might be more of a critique of forum users in general, but I just like people who keep others in mind before they post something potentially offensive.
blueczarinaSpectatorI don’t post on blamo.net, but I checked it out. There are vulgar threads on the first page. I guess they’re a bunch of Pumpkin fans, who can’t resist sharing their favorite porn sites, etc., with everyone too. I only post to this site, thepumpkins.net, and sometimes SP.com even though there isn’t much to the user section there. At least at SP freaks no one is sworn out or subjected to vulgar filth. It may be a small site, but people are friendly and practically moderate themselves. There is the odd disagreement, but thats mild compared to the crap you get on some forums. I’ll take small, over crass any day.

blueczarinaSpectatorI think netphoria is a disgusting forum, made even worse by the fact that they want to soak you for money to use it. If you want a bigger forum site that is friendlier use thepumpkins.net. I think their moderators actually do their jobs.

Amongst several bootlegs (all reported, nya nya nya) there’s 1 genuine numbered MCIS on eBay.
[/quote:2nfnkcqi]Yeah, its seems like most of the MCIS vinyls on ebay are the fake ones anymore. I just can’t believe I see people paying $100-$200 for them. I would think they would seek out a bit more info on an expensive item like that before purchasing. I always try to make sure I know about what I’m potentially buying.
Does anyone have any idea on how many different people are actually selling the bootlegs on ebay? If its a small group, reporting them might make a difference. It says in ebay’s policy section that selling bootleg can get you permanently kicked off of the site. If enough people were turned in enough times, maybe it would help curb the problem on ebay at least. Just a thought.
