has anyone taken the time to listen to these? or analyse them in their sound labs?
can you hear differences between the mix of the original release and the 2011 mix?
what do you think about the \"fix\" they provided in the digital downloads? is it just the original version, with the volume levels increased, like i read on some forums?

no. that’s just a promotional flag for the album. it was released way before. i remember seeing one on the day of the paris 2007 show, which was in may.
originally, the release date was supposed to be 7-7-7. i guess for symbolic reasons. but then, when the release date came closer, it changed to a couple of days later. i guess for practical reasons.i think i also have that little flag somewhere.
it’s real. i wouldn’t call it rare though.
the US counterpart of this promo 12\" has a different tracklist.

you were probably looking under "cds (official)". this is listed under "cds (unofficial)", as it’s not an official release.amazon.ca had it for sale for CDN$26.99.

it’s already been in belgium for a couple of days, but they were trying to charge me import taxes (22 euro: more expensive than the actual item), so i had to arrange a couple of things first. the solution: i’m paying the import taxes, but because they were amazon’s fault (they listed a value of over 50 euro), they’re giving me a refund.It looks like Austria has even better deals, compared to Canada.

– the \"2011 mix\" that was included on the gish reissue bonus disc — according to sven’s source at the record company, something was wrong with this
– the 2012 \"remastered\" version with the alternate vocal take, that was included on the pisces iscariot reissue
– the \"fix\" of the \"remastered\" version, that was included in all the provided reissue downloads (the file i uploaded is a 24 bit file, as i don’t have the normal 16 bit download)
