i haven’t heard it, but i really doubt it. i think this tape will sound very similar to the final version of mcis.also, those "monitor mixes" are the most exciting. it’s a previously unknown recording from an acoustic show in london. including an acoustic starla. even quinto hadn’t found the audio in the archive yet. if it’s even there.
I’m very curious on the sound quality of this one. Can someone please report the sound quality when recieving it?

haven’t heard it, and i don’t plan to, but i’m certain that it will suck. the people who made this bootleg got the music online, or on a bootleg cd. as a result, it cannot possibly sound any better than what can be found online or on one of those cds.this has been available online for years. i think someone downloaded the music and the adore font, and made his own cd-r with tracklist in the adore font.

and are we talking 12" or 7" here? because i believe all 7" copies come with a mistake. there’s a repetitive hissy sound in purr snickety.i have an early gish vinyl that i believe was used as a promo. it comes with a (red) promo sheet. but besides that, it’s identical to the commercial release (either carlp16 or hutlp2, can’t remember right now). and i have a gish vinyl that has a \"promo\" stamp on the sleeve. might be the korean one.
it doesn’t prove anything, but it looks like there were no specific promo copies for gish. they just used the normal copies.
maybe this is typical for beginning bands? they start with small runs of vinyl pressings anyway. no need for a different run of wlps. dunno.and now i have found it. thanks Bram. i couldn’t even remember what color the guitar was.
