Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorok, so there is no way really to tell if it is first or second or uk? unless we have the original paper that came with it. well that is ok, i am just glad to have it.[/quote:16vngtgz]
yes, i believe that’s how it is. as far as i know they look all the same, except for the separate barcode label (that gets lost easily), and the hinges (that don’t say much).being glad to have it is the right spirit. i was going to add that to my previous post, but it was long enough already.

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatori just realized that the UK release, which has the same international release code as the first US pressing, has different hinges than the first US pressing.
one would think that the UK release was also part of this first pressing, right? since it has the same release code and all.so there we are. you can’t conclude much from the hinges.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorno, no, they all look identical. ok, there are different hinges on some, but as far as i know, the box and everything inside the box is identical for every copy of the box set, no matter where or when it’s been released.
the piece of white paper with the barcode and tracklist was attached on the back of the box right before it was sealed. if you bought your box second hand/not sealed, it’s not so strange that it didn’t come with the barcode label. it is a separate piece of paper that doesn’t really go anywhere and i guess many people didn’t keep it (and why would they, right?).
and when i say \"not so strange\", i think i mean \"not strange at all\".the cds don’t have a barcode, because they’re part of the box set. they don’t need a barcode, since they’re not meant to be sold seperately. (that’s the easiest way to recognize a cd from the box set, by the way: there’s no barcode. if it were one of the commercial singles, there would be a barcode.)
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorCan they work, do they work? Aside from the distance, what’s the real difference?
Wouldn’t it be swish to meet someone like-minded from another country?
The time apart before meeting is good to learn about each other, moreso than meeting in a Pub/Bar.
There’s the anticipation of first meeting, you’d possibly value the together time better, plus the time apart strengthens the bond and paves way for future meetings.[/quote:2ekqiobt]
You are implying that a long-distance relationship involves getting to know each other online. That’s not always the case.I’m in a long-distance relationship and it sucks because I want to live together and I really hope we can be in a couple of months.

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatoryesterday i bought that suspicious looking danish promo cd for the rose march. i got it for cheap on the bay of E. otherwise i don’t think i would have bought it.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorI don’t beleive there is a first and second pressing. The boxes could have been assembled at two different locations and therefore the hinges are different…. or there were two suppliers of hinges to the final assembly line. I purchased my the day it came out at Best Buy and it has the so-called "second pressing" hinges. A promo box I have also has the "second pressing" hinges; one would believe that a promo box would be one of the first off the line.[/quote:2zyy1lia]
there definitely is a first and second pressing.you’re right though, the boxes in the spfreaks collection have different hinges for the different pressings, but this doesn’t mean this is a correct way to identify different pressings.
the only way you can be sure is if you still have that white label with the barcode. (this is not a sticker, by the way.)
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatormake an offer. can’t hurt.[/quote:2jttu4wn]
does anyone know if this i am one 10" test pressing/white label promo is supposed to come in a Hut sleeve, just like those 12" promos?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatori want that one (i am one 10\").
it’s a tiny bit over my budget though…
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorit wasn’t me.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatoryeah, i’ve seen this one before. same fake 10-track \"promo\".
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatori am a vampire.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorje pense donc je suis.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorcongrats. for how much?
and what about that light into dark 7\"? is that another mistake or is that a release i don’t know about, or (damn my age) forgot about?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorSub Pop SP 90 Test Press – Red vinyl for some reason. Anyone interested in this? I know it will cost dearly and I am not interested in keeping it. Bought as part of a collection. Mint and unplayed. email me or PM. I am new to this forum, but am the real deal. I may also have an extra Grey copy for the right price. I collect Sub Pop and Nirvana, trades will be considered, but I have most everything.
Great site by the way. Thanks![/quote:1e8h78w9]
do you also collect sub pop posters? i’ve got posters that i don’t want to keep, from L7, tad and mudhoney.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatoreventually down the line ide like to get the light into dark vinyls (12” and 7”) and the original i am ones. im wathching a 7” right now.[/quote:1v60gciw]

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatori don’t play any games, so i don’t care.
it’s a bit like the poetry book. i don’t read poetry, so i didn’t buy the book.

Turns out, this was not a new song after all. Rather a cover of Run, Shaker Life by Richie Havens. We all gotta step up our musical knowledge!!!!![/quote:28a3kqpy]
that’s nothing new, manilla. this has been pointed out months ago.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatoras long as the reserve is not met, it really doesn’t matter how early people start bidding.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorjune 26. i won the item for £10.50.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorHUTTP127 is just the matrix code for this release. it’s on every copy. this code is also present on the sticker.
http://www.spfreaks.com/Default.aspx?pa … &item=1876no way these are test pressings. the matrix code is not even \"hand written\".
maybe the P in HUTTP stands for promo?
i’ve noticed that some 12\" vinyl single releases have a code that starts with HUTT, while there 7\" counterpart have a similar code that starts with HUT (with only one T).
cd counterparts usually have a code that starts with HUTC or HUTCD.
this can imply that the T and the P in HUTTP do not belong together: the HUTT stands for 12\" single release on Hut Recordings, and the P for something else.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatori recently bought a siva 12\" for £10 on ebay. i gave it away.
