DanniSpectatorYeah, and I’ve seen that even that guy Billy Corgan has a N.B.C-sweater, isn’t that right?
DanniSpectatorThanx guys for pointing that out. Of course for my own sake it would have been better if the seller was from the UK, and so the shipping would have been a lot cheaper. But overall I’m quite satisfied with the affair.
Blueczarina:
No problemo, glad you finally got it!
DanniSpectatorNo, but I was going to from the beginning. But I bought a lot of records recently…
So now, the doors of opportunity has opened for you on this one my friend!
DanniSpectatori just scored this for about $15 including shipping.

i’m trying to get all of those.
they are cute.[/quote:1814ns1e]
Way to go!
I’m collecting those as well, mainly the UK ones in cardboard sleeves. Last week I got the Tonight Tonight (blue) promo one with the promo sticker on it for only £0.99.
I just won this by the way:

What do you guys and guysesses think about the price on this one? Pretty OK?
I checked it on http://www.popsike.com and to me it seems to be a quite fair deal.
Oh yeah, and Blueczarina, check this out if you haven’t before:

– Originally I wanted to buy that one but I just spent too much money lately, and now with the Zwan LP and such…
DanniSpectatorYaeh, I’ve always thought of this as somewhat confusing.
You’ve got a very impressive SD vinyl collection though, Sir!
The guy who sold me this coloured SD vinyl in Sweden wrote in the auction that it’s the purple one. It’s far from purple though, even I can see that.
DanniSpectatorSpeaking of pictures, I found this advert in an old NME from 2000 (January) I believe:
DanniSpectatorOkey, thanx for the explanation Ayoe, I will try it later.
DanniSpectatorVery interesting topic C.A.I.C….
Now, this is what I’ve got, a Maroon one:
DanniSpectatorAh, what the hell. Here goes (hope it’s right this time):
Drown [9]
Eye [9]
Untitled [7]+
Because you are [5]
My Mistake [10]
Sparrow [5]
Waiting [5]
Saturnine [7]
Rock On [3]+
Winterlong [4]
Soot and Stars [7]
Blissed and Gone [6]
Why Am I So Tired [6]+Just had to save that great Rock On song.
DanniSpectatorProbably nothing much but here goes:
As I came to think of, recently you know I bought the 1994 remastered version of the Gish lp.
Searching in SPfreaks Collection I only found the one without the \"Remastered\" sticker on the front, and it said that it’s only noticable by the different codes and the word \"Remastered\" top left on the back of the sleeve.
Now, mine has got the sticker on the front and looks like this:
DanniSpectatorYou are all very talented with the poets, folks.
DanniSpectatorThank you, that tree is now a half-dead tree. Almost totally dried out.
DanniSpectatorCongratulations señorita!
Nice cd for sure.
DanniSpectatorhas enyone mentioned this one?

That’s bad, man. Anyway, I can see that the seller has good taste in hockey as he is wearing a Red Wings sweater (as can be seen in the photo of the record itself).
DanniSpectatorThat’s cool y’all!
Speaking of figures, anyone remberer these? The 1988 TMHT figures:
DanniSpectator….I can always try this thing.
On my knees I stand. Waiting for the end.
The echoes that will be, clinging on for eternity.
In my tree, a place for you and me. I found out what it’s all about.
And up here in my tree, there’s a place for you and me.
We could watch the world go ’round. Up and down, and ’round and ’round.
And up here in my tree, there’s no place for you nor me.
The echoes set us free, we’ll shiver in trinity. It’s from my In My Tree-thing.
DanniSpectatorDeftones, eyh?
Ya know, I haven’t listened to them very much and I just don’t know why. Although I have to admit that Saturday Night Wrist from 2006 is a great album.
DanniSpectatorBenway: Yeah, I know, it’s probably further ahead. But I just don’t know about this New Album Writing idea. I guess it’s a good idea for the ones that are interested though.
DanniSpectatorHmmmm….
Now I know why the 2nd record of my maroon version is slightly darker than the first one.
But I like ’em still-Why mix these up?
DanniSpectatorI wouldn’t miss the chance, no, no.
This SP fan club with the new cd/lp releases (for like $40 US or something?) is gonna be awesome if they get it together. I just don’t know WHEN you can sign up for the SP fan club?
DanniSpectatorJust got my filthy hand on this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi … 0369007497
I love getting things cheap, and the shipping is like only 1,50 GBP as it is in the UK. Great stuff for me.
One question on this one…
Is this promo more \"rare\" with that sticker attached to it? Who issues those stickers?
DanniSpectatorAnd yeah, as you know I even found the rare cassette tape for Hot Saki.
DanniSpectatorWow, finally someone brought this up. Catherine is awesome, and I’m as great fan to them as to the SP.
For the SLEEPY EP you should try http://www.amazon.com as they’ve got it cheap.
For the HOT SAKI + BEDTIME STORIES try http://www.hmv.co.jp it’s the japanese + OBI version.
DanniSpectatorThats a lil pricey for sure.Ive seen it go for 15-20 bucks.
[/quote:1th3wjcf]
Yup, 15 bucks is pretty normal for that one. But it sounds terrible as it is in mono.
That’s a shame cause it’s one of their greatest piece of work!
