MarcellaSpectatorI am not so glad for active weekends. They distract me from my schoolwork
.
MarcellaSpectatorThat is one of the flaws – that the God Pascal says to believe in doesn’t know you are believing just to gain any potential benefits, and that belief is the only requirement to be rewarded with heaven. And I believe that if the Christian god exists as is commonly depicted (Benevolent, omniscient etc.) he wouldn’t punish based on whether they believed or not. [/quote:3dsc4sdq]
I couldn’t agree more. The God I believe in wouldn’t base himself in belief, but in what really matters; a person’s intentions. I refuse to believe in such a punishing god.
But allow me to try to understand this philosophy a little better. Believing in a God that exists would bring infinite gain. Not believing in a God that exists would bring infinite loss. Believing in a God that doesn’t exist would bring a finite loss.
I mostly do not agree with the third. I wouldn’t consider not being rewarded as a finite loss. And if God doesn’t exist, who would reward, anyways? There would be no loss in this statement, in my humble opinion.
MarcellaSpectatorHehe, thank you. But as you can read above, it could be hazardous to your health
.
MarcellaSpectatorThe Sound of Animals Fighting D=!! I’d kill to see them live. Quite literally, really.
MarcellaSpectatorI LOVE SSB. I used to play it all the time on my Gamecube. I’ve also played the Wii version, but not as eagerly since I had no idea how to control the characters xD. And my friend got a PS3 for Christmas…which she doesn’t use or cares for at all. And she has LittleBigPlanet =).
MarcellaSpectatorSome masculinity is also hot- I don’t want a delicate lady, y’know. And some stubble is always accepted. Like that of Hugh Laurie from House. I’m so attracted to him, even though he could easily be my father. Quite easily actually. But hey I don’t like kids
. Damn I’m so glad no one I know comes here ._.
MarcellaSpectatorI’m so hooked on tetris that sometimes when I look at people I see myself placing squares on their faces…
MarcellaSpectatorI also like pretty boys who look like girls =). And that is the cutest picture. Must’ve been a veeery fun day!
MarcellaSpectatorYeah I was quite a trouble child. Now it’s worse- I am a troubled teenager
.
Tell us how everything went Manilla! And don’t die ’cause, y’know, dying’s not cool
.

Should I take such thing as a compliment? Wahaha.
MarcellaSpectatorThe first one is great. The way light reflects on the water is really relaxing, and the combination of those aquatic colors gives it a beautiful touch. Gorgeous model, also =). Her eyes are incredibly beautiful.
MarcellaSpectatorThat was an incredibly interesting read. I like the last part about loving oneself. In the end, it is all reduced to that. Someday I wan to reach that; the full acceptance of my being and everything else.
MarcellaSpectatorI really hope there is nothing wrong with you =l. I had insomnia at the tender age of 10, all through 11. The reason why I couldn’t sleep was, according to my doctor, that I was paranoid of not sleeping. I didn’t sleep because I was afraid that I wouldn’t sleep- fucked up, huh? I even had to pop up medication. Luckily I am fine now.
MarcellaSpectatorGoorgggeouss *___*
MarcellaSpectatorCongrats Rose! I hope you do awesomely. Eliminate all nervousness and go there well dressed
.
MarcellaSpectatorHave you guys read some of the older stuff? I am a great fan of Jules Verne’s stories. It impresses me how ahead of his time he was. I also recently enjoyed Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen, not to mention The Little Prince is one of my favorite books ever =).
MarcellaSpectatorAnd according to Arthur, I am the silly one
….
MarcellaSpectatorMayo is a pro organizer, hell yeah
.
MarcellaSpectatorAhahah necrophilia, sounds like the appropiate word
.
MarcellaSpectatorif you can tell me more of the plot i might be able to tell you.
was it earlier- like 19th century- or later? and was it like a fairytale of sorts?
[/quote:3q2spncp]
It was like earlier than 19th century…and it was more of a war tale, apparently the main guy came from a war and arrived to this castle were he meets the princess and her family and he wants to marry the princess…the father was some sort of war general, I think he was his general actually. I’m mixing all the plot XDD.
And that is so cool RTC D=! I want it! Is it good?
MarcellaSpectatorI want to read more by him : D. I remember reading other Russian novel but I don’t remember its name or its author T___________T. It was about a traveler and a princess and it was so nice.
MarcellaSpectatorYeah hope you feel better too =).
edit: DDD=! I just realized Czarina’s icon moves!! How freaking slow my browser is? *dances with icon*
MarcellaSpectatorI learned so much more in this thread than in years of History class.
MarcellaSpectatorExotic :0. I recently read a book by Dostoyevski, The Gambler. It was quite good. I’m a huge Stephen King fan, mostly. My goal is to read all the books he’s written, but it seems impossible with the man always taking out new stuff! My most recent read by King has been a classic, ‘Salem’s Lot, and what can I say, awesomely creepy =).
MarcellaSpectatorThat is so nice! I don’t even know where Oporto is, though ._.
