marigoldSpectatorthe extra media is the sprc releases (to date), plus the artwork.[/quote:3dk8xpxw]
also with the order from the SPRC you get the Frail and Bedazzled instrumental
I can’t see the pre-order link on Amazon now – does that mean they ran out of their supply? Does anyone know how many copies are being made? I am still trying to decide if I want to get anything more than the SD deluxe edtion….
marigoldSpectator^^ hehe
you can order them from sp.com now:
http://www.smashingpumpkins.com/reissues
they show all the tracklistings for each issue – nice!
Gish – never heard of ‘Seam’ and ‘Hippy Trippy’ before these reissues.
Siamese Dream – Ache (silverfuck rehearsal demo) – wonder if this is a different version of Silverfuck or a different song altogether?

marigoldSpectatoraurora borealis across the sky
the light on a dark night
colors against the blackground
never changing stars flickering
our colors melting betweenmoving across the sky
no pattern to explain
a chance meeting of stars
challenging forcefields of earthmaybe never getting to the ground
maybe never touching one another
maybe never anything
boy, did we put on a showeveryone else stopped dancing
to see our waltz[/quote:3urh6mm0]did you see one? (an aurora)
marigoldSpectatorhttp://www.spfc.org/tours/date.html?year=2011 – they seem pretty accurate, well, I know the Omaha one is correct.
marigoldSpectatorThey do look pretty!
marigoldSpectatorI like Machina better, not sure if it’s the production or the songs on Zeitgeist but I definitely don’t listen to the songs as much
marigoldSpectator…we are!
4.39am
what it is
to live in this machine
that kills all hope
and drowns out inspiration
this machine that breathes
and sucks you down
consumes your life
and controls your every move
there are the few that know
they are awake
they live on the wave’s edge, they are restless
they want to break away
some have already made it
and it hurts to know
we can all be free
we know the tide is turning
marigoldSpectatorI really like this version of My Love is Winter compared with the one they played last year.

marigoldSpectatorand there’s a limited edition numbered poster at each show:
marigoldSpectatorlol Kylie I wasn’t at the show (I WISH!)
just got those pics from someone else who posted them on the oboardI like the white Fancy Space People t-shirt, as for the SP t-shirts…..that’s a weird one like the one Billy wore – is that supposed to be a pic of Jesus or something?
marigoldSpectatorI don’t know if they’re going to continue playing these sorts of songs on the tour, but I sure hope they bring this kind of thing to NZ next year!

Really looking forward to Oceania now!
marigoldSpectatorThis quote from Steve Jobs reminds me of the Oscar Wilde one:
\"Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.\"

oh and Chris Cornell was AMAZING – when he plays acoustic versions of the songs (like Fell on Black Days, Like a Stone, Black Hole Sun) he turns them into such beautiful songs – and he also does an awesome cover of Billie Jean (Michael Jackson) sounds quite different – its Cornell-style!
marigoldSpectatorcool poems Chad! I like the starry themes

You might like this band Laura – I quite like some of their stuff:
marigoldSpectatorI used to work with people in London who would just talk about what happened on Eastenders (soap opera where everyone seems to moan about stuff) the night before…and I didn’t watch it, so had no interest in talking about it to them.
I guess that is all they have in their lives though, work, go home, watch TV.
@ Daysofthephoenix – sounds like you need different friends!
