SickboySpectatorI’m definately going to see that "Siamese Dream Revisited Tour" gigs somewhere! [/quote:28u6xkfe]
hm I think I missed something… any more info on that?
SickboySpectatorFUCK VIRGIN[/quote:1qudvd5x]
that made me laugh
SickboySpectatorcds last longer than vinyl, no?[/quote:28pg58ii]
quite the oppositecds are said to last approx. 20-30 years (cd-r’s much less) and vinyls up to 100 years and more….
more info on that topc here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CD_rot
SickboySpectatori’d go for vinyl releases since cds don’t last too long, and vinyl is just more beautiful
SickboySpectatorHm, yeah, I thought of that before…
But I’m really not interessted in memorabilia, I absolutely don’t care for these kind of things. I don’t get in touch with a musician just because I buy something he owned/signed/whatever….
I’ll keep on collecting records
SickboySpectatormy want list?
– I Am One 7\"
– Siamese Dream 2*12\" pink
– Mellon Collie 3*12\" numbered or unnumbered
– PI 12\" gold w/ 7\"
– Tristessa 7\" greyI think that be it.
SickboySpectatorI’m coming from the nirvana collectors community and we have a guy there who’s obsessed with matrix codes and stuff. his site should clear up some things about how pressings are done, pressing plants and their matrix codes and so on:
http://www.crimson-ceremony.net/pr3/If there are any further questions regarding matrices I can ask him!

SickboySpectatorgod, i should try to find a colour scanner big enough for 12"s.[/quote:2tnazaxv]
i looked for A3 scanners on ebay a while ago.. they’re not cheapand yeah, i’ll post pictures when i have the records
here is my purple siamese dream, scanned with an a4 scanner, an awful lot of work!
SickboySpectatoredit: the seller stated in his auction that it sat in his shelf for a couple of years. and he wasn’t a professional seller….[/quote:3tbx0zub]
then he’s probably a liar.[/quote:3tbx0zub]
that might be true of course…2008.03.16 at 3:46 pm in reply to: Siamese Dream colored vinyl; 3 pressings or more? You judge. #3775
SickboySpectatorBut it looks very see-through to me….
But we’ll see, cause I bought it
SickboySpectatorYeah, I’m that Parkes guy that picked up this vinyl today and sent that email. Any questions for the man with the bootleg version? I gotta say, if it’s a bootleg, they did a damn good job, I’m very impressed! kudoos, this thing is going to take if we don’t put a stop to this. I assume you accept any members to this crusade.[/quote:2adg7jm0]
Yep, I can confirm that. If this (the black vinyl version w/o the white box) is fake it’s possibly the best fake/counterfeit i’ve ever encountered. But I have to admit that I have nothing to compare to.
If they havent’t allready been posted, the matrix codes are:
7243 8 41655 – A –
….
7243 8 41655 – F –edit: the seller stated in his auction that it sat in his shelf for a couple of years. and he wasn’t a professional seller….
