    Nice indeed!

What exactly is written on the jewel case? Just curious.

I eventually found the tracklist which speaks for itself (even more than the title)…
As you said: as if Billy would promote things like that between MTE and what I still call Day for Night.
It is supposed to be a mix between two 1993 shows, a live gig in San Diego and an acoustic show in LA.

What surprises me a lot is the fact that such things are sold at very official stores like Fnac whereas selling bootleg is completely forbidden in France (even though recording and sharing for free is tolerated provided that the artist agrees with such practice). This being said I once bought a bootleg DVD at Fnac years ago. These guys should investigate a little more and not nearly give me a heart attack at 8:00AM by sending me an email titled “SP new album on pre-order” while we are indeed waiting for a new one whose name is yet to be revealed. Huh!

The more I look at this item the less legit it appears to me.
Especially the fact that the font used doesn’t match the most recent one and is quite odd.
It looks like a bootleg although it is supposed to be sold at Fnac with a pre-order and everything.
It could be quite a good recording though.

    Your thoughts ?

Latest Item I bought was the signed vinyl of Monuments to an Elegy. I promise you a pic (and its number) really soon.

But I guess next one will be : Bruised and Angel Wings available on pre-order and release scheduled on May 18th.
What do we know exactly about this concert recording ? I haven’t read much about it.

Just quoting what Billy said yesterday or two days ago in an interview (Gigwise):
    [url:us2qtnsy]http://www.gigwise.com/news/95393/smashing-pumpkins-were-more-a-concept-than-a-band[/url:us2qtnsy]

\"It’s interesting about Monuments To An Elegy is that every song is pretty different,\"
\"Really, it’s sort of like the best of that kind of song\".

So yes : \"the album could be a wholly different story altogether. \" :)

    Hello everybody!
    It’s been a while I know.

So we got \"being beige\" as a first single. Very surprising choice isn’t it? I must admit I was a bit bewildered during my first listening.

A big buzz around Tommy Lee and the first single released is a pop one with a drum machine that can clearly be heard since the very beginning of the song.
Billy said this opus would be focused on guitars but the guitar arpeggios are quite often overwhelmed by the keyboard.
    :?:

I’m still too puzzled to determine wether the song is good or not. Ask me later
    So far I’m just in a \"it’s not what I expected\" mood.
