blueczarinaSpectatorShare (perferably obscure) music! It’s simple!
[list:152869y9]-Find album you want to share with the rest of us
-Rar/zip it
-Upload it to
-Ctrl+C Ctrl+V into code tags
-Obscure link eg: http => hxxp (to avoid automated trackers finding it and getting it removed from MF)
-Description
-Link to band’s site
-Post![/list:u:152869y9]I’ll start:
[code:152869y9]hxxp://www.mediafire.com/?nmnnxylhzzu[/code:152869y9]
Think Explosions In The Sky if they were much more laid back, more gentle – more emphasis placed on beauty and elegance than power and crushingly emotional crescendos, if you understand. A nice listen at any rate

Another post-rock album, but wholly different. This music is gentle, elegant, dreamy. Take a retro-futuristic world, give it a sepia tint and make everything move slowly and fluidly – this is what it would sound like. This is the music of an autumn evening stroll, where the leaves are red, orange and golden; the sun illuminates them and casts your long shadow against the ground. This is an album for the morning after a snowstorm, where the ground is as pure white as it can get and undisturbed – snowflakes drift through the air leisurely, settling in your hair and on your shoulders, and when no-one else is around. If ‘A Trip To The Moon’ was played at half speed, this would be the soundtrack.
This is a beautiful, breath-taking and oh-so-calming record by a band that would, if they had their way, release everything on vinyl exclusively. In fact, their only CD release is the upcoming Japanese edition of this EP (with 3 extra tracks not here…).
Also, take a look at their myspace – see the videos on the right? The one with ‘made by our good friend sam’ above it? Well, it was made by your good friend sam
But enough talk. Just listen.

Just so you know, you don’t have to find anything – you can just upload and post music you already have that you want us to have too. It’s what I’ve done thus far.

SuperlordspamulonSpectatorRules:
No hot-linking images or albums. You can re-host images at http://imageshack.us (I personally recommend Photobucket, Tinypic or even Flickr over imageshack. Nobody likes the golden frog – SLS).
Ensure your tags are correct and that you have specified both Artist/Album in your post.
Upload your files in either a .zip or a .rar archive to mediaf!re.com, in multiple parts if the album is over 100mbs. The reason for this is that we know mediaf!re is safe and efficient and allows multiple downloads. The ads on other sites, such as Sendspace, are known to contain viruses on the page. Get yourself checked out.
Post your link using code tags. This prevents the links from being traced back to the forums, lowering the chance that the wrong people notice the thread, potentially threatening Jeph (owner of QC. Replace with Arthur – SLS) with legal action.
Also, please do NOT request albums.
Before you post in this thread, take a minute and consider the following:
Think of this as the community chest. Everyone is free and encouraged to contribute to it, with that in mind:
* This thread is for you to share the music that you love for people who would normally not be able to access it. This is not an everything-goes-all-the-time mp3 blog.
* Think about what you are uploading. Is it easily available elsewhere and popular? If yes, is it really worth it to upload and post here?
* Have some self control. Is it really necessary to upload the entire discography of this band? Is it all really so excellent? If it is, don’t worry. Whoever downloads this will surely realize this and look for more material on their own.To return to the community chest, imagine you one day open the chest and everyone threw everything inside it. There’s probably more things that you can use there now, but they are now buried in a mountain of debris and you’ll likely miss the good stuff anyway! Imagine though, that you come to the chest one day and you find that everyone thought about what might best serve us all and then neatly placed it inside. This is what this thread should be.[/quote:jhfjh69w]
Just thought this would be a good idea to post here. Everything needs rules and shit, keep it all good and stuff. But yeah, follow these and you won’t go far wrong.
And if I can finish my Physics coursework tonight, I’ll post some good stuff by a little british band called Rinoa.

Long, heavy, slowly building instrumental parts that reach climaxes where the singer unleashes one of the most heart wrenching howls I’ve heard. Excellent.

SuperlordspamulonSpectatorNavio Forge – As We Quietly Burn A Hole Into…
[code:2so39zsi]hxxp://www.mediafire.com/?w2my2gmeinn[/code:2so39zsi]
Old-school emo. Starts off sounding quite hardcore, quite ‘tuff-guy’, but persevere and you will hear a song (‘Haloed Eyes’) with more raw, intense emotion than ever before. You can hear the singer literally breaking down into tears by the end of this.
A little history – This band was active somewhere in the mid-early nineties. They played two shows and released this EP on vinyl exclusively. Than broke up. That is it. That is all they did.
Obviously, because this only ever had one pressing, and on vinyl (and DIY at that!), the quality of these mp3s isn’t the best. But the music is still fantastic.
Also, why am I practically the only one uploading stuff? Share your obscure music collection, people!

Extraordinary electronic artist. Mostly Chiptune, but also does other genres. Has worked with Trent Reznor in the past, and NIN are sampled in a few songs (not this album). This album’s my favourite of She’s – it’s mostly ambient, and it’s got great little concept going.
You can also download virtually everything She released off the official website, except Coloris. But if anyone wants it, I’ll upload it.

here is an album i picked up a few years back. i’m not sure what kind of genre they fit into, but they have a cool sound. i guess this is what they call themselves on their myspace –> Pop / Electronica / Trip Hop. i guess its something like that. anyway its a really great listen and has great vibe to it.
