I missed out on tickets for this by 2 lousy hours! They were giving them out Letterman tix in time square, and i asked the guy about tickets for the show(s) with the pumpkins he said they had finished giving them out about 2 hours before. I tried by best to bribe him but even $$$ wouldnt change the fact there were none left :( Worst was the fact they were recording both shows (the 9th and 13th) on the same day, so i could seen both sets recorded. Lifes a bummer when youre a hummer…..

oh yeh there is a tarantula single here in australia, i dont know if its cardsleeve or not and/or if its the same as the UK release. It has the same tracklist with death from above as the B side i think

all i know of (cds) is the commercial paris hilton cover single, the black flag UK cardsleeve promo and the black flag US jewel case promo. I could only find the commercial single in the UK. In NY i asked the people in \"the worlds largest music store\" and they said they havent got any singles yet for the album, so i’m assuming that the US hasnt got any as yet, but i may be wrong….

Yeah, i remember seeing that one on ebay a while back, and it went for a real good price, i think around $500 or something. Problem was i was a poor uni student back then, and the seller wasnt posting outside the US. About 2 months ago or so i picked up

im from australia, and as far as i know we are just getting the standard red cover. There is an Australian light blue (different to the UK purple and Target US purple), but it is only a digital iTunes release i believe, with Stellar and Zeitgeist as the bonus tracks. So far im after the yellow, purple, green and red. Ive got the red, red+book and the green. Deciding how im gonna get the yellow and purple at the moment. Might go out today and see if some of the better local record stores have them in as imports, and if not i’ll have to get them online

yeh i have to agree with orchid, its the thrill of the hunt. And getting in early is heaps easier than trying to get something later on down the track. It will be cool to see what actually becomes the rarest version(s) in a couple of years. Maybe i’m dumb but i dont think i’ve heard of any other albums at all with so many versions

i fluked mine, was in NY on the day of the release, and just went to virgin and got it pretty cheap. Had to fly back to aus on the same day, and didnt realise till i got here that the album wasnt released for another 4 days over here so i could rub it in everyones faces

yeh i knew he must have been joking. Remember on 3 feet high (chicago bootlegg from 93 i think) he pronounces siamese dream as \"see-a-meese dream\", and also on the viewphoria dvd when jimmy meets Manny during the siamese recording he introduces himself as \"Jimmy Chamberlay\", i think to rhyme with Manny’s last name. It must be a long standing-running joke or something with them to always deliberately misspronounce obivious stuff

yeh i was there thought it was ok, anyone notice how billy introduced tarantula? \"This is our new single, ‘Ta-ran-toola’\" ha ha. I though the quiet bit in the middle of tarantula should have been extended a bit more, like the grand rex version
