It’s actually kind of what I was expecting, but not actually as bad as I feared.
I’m kind of 50/50 at the moment as to if I’ll pick up an album just because James is on it.
I’d probably listen to it once and never again.

Tinted Windows have announced the release of their debut album, scheduled to hit shelves in April.

The band, comprised of former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha,Cheap Trick drummer Bun E. Carlos, Taylor Hanson of Hanson, and bassist Adam Schlesinger of Fountains Of Wayne, recorded the self-titled album at Stratosphere Sound Studios in New York

In addition to shows booked at SXSW, the band will perform at Bamboozle at Meadlowlands in New Jersey this summer, and will appear on Letterman the night before the album’s release.

Hanson, Schlesinger and Iha joined forces to write the material, and Hanson says they initially sought a drummer “like” Bun E. Carlos before actually asking him to play.
