Yeah pretty cool huh… I was looking for that one, but I couldn’t find it at first because I was in a little hurry. Later I found it on YouTube anyway…This version of Fury was pro recorded in Australia in late 2007 if I’m right, when they played Fury again for the first time since years. The shots are taken from the video wall behind the band, which gives a pretty cool effect, right? A bit later it became a little treat for the fans to download from the Muse website. I must have that original vid somewhere also… I think it’s the same as this one… But anyway, it rocks for sure indeed!

interesting. i really love that album. i discovered Muse through that one though. they played a song from it before it was released in the US on this syndicated radio program they use to have on NPR (national public radio) here. i had never heard them before. stupid US and stupid here.
but anyway i love that album and the two before it. i think their weakest might be the latest one though. it has some good songs, but i wasn’t holy crap about it like i was with the others. -

I do not agree, but I know what you mean. Those bands know 1 trick, and they do it for 20 years, or more. And for some reason, they still attract people to that 1 trick. Somehow it doesn’t get boring. Well, for a lot of people at least. Put artists/bands like Prince and Rolling Stones and Elvis Presley in that list also, if you ask me.But overrated? No. I think artisans in any field can never be overrated.

I wish I was going to see Muse again, they missed out NZ this time – only Australian dates this December. And 2 concerts each for Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne too…
They sure can put on a decent live show. -

I like it – it’s different – they’ve brought their ‘musestep’ in and mixed it with their old classical style they’ve used before. It feels like an interlude type song though, no vocals – aside from some voice over message and some wailing from Matt

some friends asked me to buy them some tickets for a muse gig in belgium next june. they’re afraid it’ll sell out before they’ll be able to go online to order. tickets go on sale tomorrow, but if you’re a member on the website, you can buy tickets today in a presale. not sure how that works, but as a new member on the muse website (i registered a couple of days ago), this presale isn’t open to me.
