Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorOuch. Outbid.[/quote:3atrsc8t]
you are planning to bid higher, right?
and you are kindly asking us not to join the bidding war, not to increase the price while it wouldn’t be necessary, right?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorthe costumes are part of the show.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorRock on!

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatoryes, of course, but that’s another issue.
it’s also illegal for the seller to sell it. and in that aspect, i guess it’s also illegal to buy it.
anyway, i don’t think the seller’s integrity is at stake here. he’s selling it on ebay. how much integrity does he have left after such an action?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorwell, maybe mexico got their own tarantula promo cd (to be sent out to radio stations), just like they got their own zeitgeist release? and this cd was the master for the promo cd. (the promo cd could be a simple cd-r.)
or maybe this cd was used in the process to get tarantula on the mexican itunes store? i assume they have a separate itunes store, just like most countries.
i agree this looks all convincing and legitimate. the early date doesn’t really look that early to me. just a small three weeks in advance.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorlooks less like a cd-r than the tarantula master.

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatoryeah, simply breaking the seal and opening the envelope will do less damage than cutting it open.
i have successfully ripped the watermarked cd for tfe. so it’s possible.
about the audio being linked to one person via the watermark:
– i agree, now that the album has been released, this becomes less important. if the record company finds zeitgeist online these days, they probably won’t check for the watermark anymore. there’s a difference between illegally spreading the album and illegally spreading the album before its release.
– if someone doesn’t mind selling this on ebay to the highest bidder, i feel that we don’t owe him anything in regards to not spreading the audio. (if someone would be nice enough to give or lend or sell me their copy in private, i wouldn’t mind agreeing on not spreading the audio.)
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorthat’s a good theory. maybe he copied the description of another auction and forgot to change the \"saturday night wrist\" to \"tarantula\".
has anyone contacted the seller about this? if this is just a simple mistake, we can find out fast.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorthey were selling copies at the zurich show: http://forums.netphoria.org/showpost.ph … stcount=72

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatoropening the seal isn’t all that \"rude\", in my opinion. as you can see in the picture, it is designed to be opened without making a mess of it. (i opened one of my tfe promos and i kept the seal. so it’s still kind of \"complete\".)
but if you could use that other person’s copy, that would be awesome. will he be ok with it though?

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorif this is still sealed, it is sealed in a paper/cardboard sleeve. you’ll have to break the seal to listen to it. or you would have to cut open the sleeve on one side.
example: http://www.spfreaks.com/Default.aspx?pa … &item=1656 (compare the second image to the third one: sealed vs. opened)

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatortarantula was out before the first show in paris, on may 22.

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorBesides, it is kinda unplayable anyway, as I understood[/quote:3lg662zp]
huh? no, it isn’t. what would be the point of an unplayable promo?
anyway, trust me, it is fully playable. i have listened to one of these watermarked cds last year.to copy the audio onto your pc is another story though. i think this is particularly hard to do. but the reward would be great, since these watermarked cds are supposed to contain the premasters of the zeitgeist songs.
so i regret that this cd is sealed and that you would decide to keep it sealed. although i understand. (i usually work the other way around: i open what i have, unless i already have an opened copy. in that case i keep one of the two sealed.)2008.02.04 at 9:41 pm in reply to: For the freakin’ country collectors: Zeitgeist CD by country #2577
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorif you would end up winning this cd, and it arrived sealed, would you dare to open it?

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorgood luck, arthur. i really hope you will win this cd.

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorhmmm… how can you be sure that it will be taken down? i’ve bought a watermarked promo of thefutureembrace on ebay. and i saw others being sold. i’ve never seen it been taken down.
so what’s the plan? tell the record company about the auction, wait until it’s taken down and then show up as the helpful buyer?
2008.02.04 at 8:03 pm in reply to: For the freakin’ country collectors: Zeitgeist CD by country #2564
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatoranyway, this one will be impossible to get. it’s the first one i have seen for sale, and there are more people looking for it than you would think.
i hope you started with a low bid, because someone will up it long before the auction is over.

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorGuys, give me a break OK, I’m bidding on this one.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorwow. wicked.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorOh, hell no. LOL. It was on eBay. Looks like a CD-R. Not even sure if it comes in a jewel-case or not. The UK version I have not actually seen for sale, other than preorders. The promo however, is on it’s way as we speak.
[/quote:ep7hqgfa]
do you still have a link to the ebay auction? or to a picture of the cd?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorIt looks like the 4 songs comprises the EP can be bought individually. And there goes our saving again

No, what it means is that the four songs are available in the ZG deluxe edition, but also separately – through AG.[/quote:5jyzvlhj]
i think that the comment has nothing to do with the cd release. it’s about how it is released on itunes: you can buy zeitgeist "deluxe", which includes the 4 american gothic tracks, or you can buy the tracks separately. if i’m not mistaken, there isn’t even an itunes release of american gothic as a whole.
note that the american gothic tracks are an itunes exclusive in the us, so it’s understandable that they don’t mention the cd release.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorI’d like to think you guys contributed to around a third of the overall sales of Zeitgeist
[/quote:35yuxfst]
i’m sure it must be more!we deserve a gold cd version of zeitgeist, just like the caroline employees when gish went gold. ([url:35yuxfst]http://www.spfreaks.com/Default.aspx?page=COLLDETAILS&item=496[/url:35yuxfst])
