doesn’t really matter, i guess)A+R.D91195. or A+R.DqIIqs.
(i can’t really tell. can anyone else give their opinion on this one?)SPGII
(II = roman two)Side B:

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorthey went for $109.49.
was the auction winner someone from here?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorwhat is good software to make animated gifs?
is the result good? is it easy to use? how steep is the learning curve?i’ve heard gimp is good, but i’ve only used that once to resize a picture.
i believe it takes a while before you get the hang of it, but that it creates great animated gifs.

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorquick update-it arrived today.flawless condition.[/quote:3q1t20ul]
cool.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorthis is our chance to get answers to all our questions.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorDefinitely a joke. Because we all know that there will be no new album, ever again.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorlol @ your face in the mirror.
at least half of my furniture is ikea.
i never made anything too complicated. i think the hardest one to put together was the 4 x 4 expedit, ideal for 12\" vinyls.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatori can’t.
i checked spfc.org to see what they have to say, and found out they have the matrix code! http://www.spfc.org/songs-releases/boot … oot_id=174
they don’t clarify what version of bury me is on it though. but it only makes sense to have the reel time studios version on there, if it’s called \"1989 demos\".
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorWell I emailed the seller:
"Here is a link to the vinyl you are selling:
http://www.spfreaks.com/default.aspx?pa … &item=1534
What you have definitely appears to be acetates, or test pressings, and are very likely extremely rare. However, the record is actually a bootleg, and not an official release. Bury Me is the studio version, found on the album, Gish. The I Am One version that appears on this vinyl is identical to the version released on the I Am One 7â single. Itâs slightly different to the Gish album studio version. I hope this helps you with your listing, feel free to share this information as you see fit. Thanks!"
Will be interesting to see if they update the auction with this information.[/quote:10wxvodb]
ummm, are you sure bury me is the gish version?
i always thought this vinyl would have the reel time studios version of bury me, as released on the 5 song sampler (aka gish basement tape): http://www.spfreaks.com/default.aspx?pa … S&item=546
no?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorall previous buyers seem to be happy with it, if you look at their feedback. i see no reason to worry here. unless the copy that arrives doesn’t look as nice as the one in the picture, of course.
this is probably a guy who found a box full of daphne descends promos. good for him. and good for the people who can pick up a copy for â¬66 because of it.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorAbsolutely. And it looks like it is in a very good condition too. Awesome deal!

it’s unlikely he’s getting the copy in the picture. this is the 4th copy this ebayer has offered for sale recently, all with the same picture.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorOr someone steamed the white paper of an original bootleg (what am I saying here?) away, and is selling them as acetates…?
[/quote:276hwxks]
but these are two 7 inches, with one song on one side and nothing on the other side. right?and you can see the vinyl isn’t entirely made out of vinyl. it looks like metal near the hole in the middle, and you can also see it on the back, where they scratched BS. or would that be written on top of the vinyl with a silver marker or something similar?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorbackup of the auction description and the pictures (as long as ebay will host them).
Item: Smashing Pumpkins 7\" 45 Rare Records (2) Acetates
Details: Matrix #- squashed-4-a / squashed 4-b
Condition: Playing Field in Near Mint condition (with some dust) on squashed-4-A, and squashed-4-B is Near Mint+++. (the back obviously has manufactuer scratches/surface wear. Letters BS written on back. Check out the pictures)

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatoroh, i believe so too.
i don’t know if these were used in the process of creating the bootleg singles, or if someone made these at home though. but it looks like the content is the same as on \"1989 demos\".i got a bit confused with \"hence a bootleg\".
the \"white inside\" is the label. the acetate doesn’t have a label. this seems perfectly normal to me, and i can’t make any deductions from it like \"hence a bootleg\".
i probably didn’t understand you correctly.i’m wondering, is this how the machina II vinyls look like? metal plates with a black layer of vinyl-like material on it?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorbargain.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatori hadn’t been able to check the pictures on ebay before in full size. they definitely look like acetates (or whatever they are called) and not like normal vinyls.
and what are you saying, buipesto? that these are bootlegs from the bootleg? haha.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorso they’re probably just bootlegs without the sleeve, instead of acetates?
right?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorno, it’s not bad. but i was expecting a bit more.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatori don’t know what to think of that album.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorNoone else cares?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorheh heh
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatortoday i listened to:
bob dylan – john wesley harding
smashing pumpkins, just some b-sides
creedence clearwater revival – mardi gras
radiohead – the king of limbs
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorthey keep making new accounts non-stop.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorThere’s an interesting discussion about the grey vinyl on sp.com: http://www.smashingpumpkins.com/board_n … opic=15434
There are reasons to believe that the grey copies were pressed on purpose, as a separate colour, and not just a result of not cleaning the presses between the black and the pink run. Apparently, if you press two different colours without cleaning in between, you will end up with far less copies with mixed colours, and it is also unlikely, according to some, that the mixed copies will look grey if you go from black to pink (or vice versa).
