Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, marcella!

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorI really like that poster there.Nice one Bram.

Was it expensive?[/quote:3gwthriy]
it’s not a poster. i haven’t received it yet, but it’s a small book-like thing (just a couple of pages, held together in the corner with a bit of chord), where people can write something down every day of the year.it was only $12.50.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatori bought an old almanac from burdock blood bitters. the picture on the front is the inspiration for the bullet with butterfly wings artwork. i might make a new thread about this when i have some more time. i mean, it’s nothing new (*), really, but i hadn’t heard about it, and it’s mildly interesting.
*: it’s already mentioned in the spf.org faq, although not 100% correct: http://www.spfc.org/band/faq.html?faq_id=44
Bullet with Butterfly Wings insert – from an advertisement in the 1800s
for some sort of youth potion called, \"Brittle’s Blood Bitters\".

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorquick question, what does a peel sessions WLP run for?
also, how does one distinguish between the acetate 12" and the wlp?[/quote:18yuf1k5]

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorMy copy’s a tdk one just like the one on the site, I’ve had it over 10 years. I’m pretty certain it’s genuine.[/quote:34gy6wpc]
ok, thanks. that’s interesting to know.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorSure i can sort out the flacs for you, but dunno when, cos im a lil busy these days with reallife.[/quote:2swrwvqa]
whenever is fine.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorJust got this by the mail.
http://www.spfreaks.com/default.aspx?pa … LS&item=18
Its the type 2 version i got.[/quote:2rw5hron]
how expensive was it?to be honest, i wouldn’t dare to pay a lot for this. the fact that there are two versions of this seems very suspicious to me. (and out of those two, the tdk one looks the most suspicious to me. but that’s just because i’ve never seen hut use tdk cds for in-house cd-rs. i don’t have any other reasons really.)
any chance you can send me some flacs from this cd? i wonder how they compare to the factory pressed cd.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorhow much did the cassette cost?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorOh wow. Proficiat!
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatoranything happening here?
today i went to work. it’s very hot. i didn’t do anything. i’m waiting until the working day is over and i can go home again. bleh.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatoryeah, that’s cool.
thanks for posting the scans.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatoryes, one is still sealed.
and they’re per country/region, roughly chronological.
on the left we have: canada on top, then usa, then south-america, and some asian stuff.
on the right: europe on top, then japan (you can see the obis on some of the cds), then australia.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorthese are most of my smashing pumpkins cds. not included in this picture are cds that come in cardsleeves, and any release that isn’t 100% smashing pumpkins (compilations with various artists, soundtracks, side projects).

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatormaybe you can send it to someone who does know what to do? someone who can make a proper dvd out of this material.
dunno. maybe upload this somewhere, or burn it onto a (data) dvd and mail it.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatoranother tired \"morning\"…

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatori believe i saw that sealed glow promo on ebay. it went for less than usual. but still about $60 if i’m not mistaken. or was it the equivalent of â¬60? i can’t remember. how much did it go for?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorInteresting. Not a bad price. Nice find Shawn.[/quote:29hndor4]
not a bad price? $22 for a 12" single? and it’s a bootleg too.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorgame, set, match.
well done.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorwhat’s that billy corgan hand? is it a cd, or just a flyer or sticker?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatoryes, possibly.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatornever seen a test pressing for the whole box set. is it just the four singles, or does it actually come in a box? (i guess it doesn’t come in a box.)
i’m not sure if they did a test pressing for the separate singles, and then another test pressing for the box set. i’d guess they didn’t, but i’m not sure.
does someone know: are all known test pressings for these four singles on black vinyl? (some pumpkins mentioned a peach test pressing, but i didn’t expect that to exist.)
anyway, this is worth a lot. it’s very rare, so it’s hard to put a price on it. with things like these the \"value\" is what someone wants to pay for it. $500 for the set? $1000? $1500? more?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorthat james iha-licd album sampler is a gold cd-r, right? i believe i have that one already.[/quote:2s9wsi6e]
just checked, and i do. can you tell me what is written on your copy (on the cd-r)? or maybe post a picture or send it to me? i wonder if there are any differences. thank you. -
