the cd arrived today, and it is in fact a NZ pressing, with its own matrix number. yay!makes me wonder if there are any other pressings around, perhaps. (from australia? japan? elsewhere?)

i believe you can only tell by looking at the matrix number. (there might be other ways to tell the difference, but i’m not aware of them.)i was tipped off by an old thread on netphoria, where this version was said to exist. so i had a little look around…

anyway, if he says hollywood, and that’s all we got, then hollywood it is. funny how things like this pop up after over 20 years. up until now, it was as if this press conference had never happened.
similar: i found a zwan interview too. it’s on a cd-r (from a radio station? record company rep?). i don’t think this was out before, and i don’t see the interview listed on splra.org. i hope to share this interview soon.

the days before, they had two shows in san francisco.so yeah, hollywood seems like a good guess, but i’m not sure. it could have been anywhere.

good luck with this tape. the insert looks a bit dirty, but this is rare and old, so i agree with the other estimate: it’ll make a good sum of money. it’s hard to say how much exactly. could be $100, could be a lot more.

do you need the interview in one long track? might be easier to put on youtube. (dunno, really, i never upload things to youtube.) or can you merge the separate tracks yourself?

there’s one transfer of tape 1, and two transfers (on different decks) of tape 2. spaceboy acoustic is the second track on side a.i know the album, yes. chicago songs. or chicago kid. i was around when he did the church sessions and the live show at the metro. well, i followed it all online.
