Doubtful-DellaSpectatorFound some things on deviantART of people who worked on or with this video
The guy’s name is Perish

Doubtful-DellaSpectatorJust because someone can paint well (and Della obviously can), doesn’t make her a comic. I think that’s asking too much. And for free. :S[/quote:61t0kxib]
That’s what I mean, I’ll see what I can do. Doing a very quick sketch and wash might not be so bad
But you are right, comics are a completely different thing that I’ve never done before. Layouts can be hell. I have a friend who works for Marvel and it’s one of those things that always amaze me
Doubtful-DellaSpectatorHow about somebody else writes it, and I’ll see what I can do. I’d have no clue what banter to put in a comic
Doubtful-DellaSpectatorHahaha I never thought of that as praying when Billy put his hands together. I always thought of zen!
Doubtful-DellaSpectatorFINALLY
it’s been a long strange journey to get to this point, and I FINALLY got the DVD[/quote:1x7nz3ko]
Feel like copying some parts of your diary here?
[/quote:1x7nz3ko]Seriously… nobody would believe me
Doubtful-DellaSpectatorwhy they stoped posting the pics on washington shows?
is it me or you can’t see the others too ?[/quote:2iut6ph6]
I looked at the ones from Washington, I recognized a few faces that I ran into in the hallways
Doubtful-DellaSpectatorTake these last few and reset their scores to a lower number to see who will axe them first
Doubtful-DellaSpectatorsweet pic Della…
did you watch it yet?
I think now that I got my b-day $ early I am going to go get mine by this weekend!!!
I’m so excited now!![/quote:h06c64ww]Not yet
My husband had the night home from work, so we went out together
Doubtful-DellaSpectatorFINALLY
Doubtful-DellaSpectatorNot familiar with it. Not a fan yet, I only like repetition to a point. For a while I didn’t like \"United States\"… then I heard it live
Doubtful-DellaSpectatorSorry, I realized that I should have started this post in the tour forum and not this one
Okay, I just finished stitching together a high resolution scan of the signed poster. (my scanner only fits 8×11 and the painting is 11×14, so I have to scan it in two pieces and then mesh them together in Photoshop.
Here is the regular painting, and then I made another version that was like the winning poster with the digital text and textures
Doubtful-DellaSpectatorI just paid .99 cents for the \"Zero\" live version at the concert I went to in DC. I wanted to see if you could hear my blood curdling scream….. and you cannot. The sound quality is so good that you can only hear a faint roar of the crowd in the background. I know I’m out there though!
Doubtful-DellaSpectatorI’m really glad I didn’t shell out $350 for a crazy red eyed, Billy leaning over and looking like death photo
Doubtful-DellaSpectatorSweet on the hat link!
And yeah… can I have my Sharpie Billy?
I really wish he would have let us get photos with him and the band backstage. I really should have just snuck it. Or at least put my camera on record and shoved it in my pocket so that you could at least hear everything
Doubtful-DellaSpectatorTonight Tonight [15] +
To Forgive [10]
An Ode To No One [5]-
Galapogos [22]
Porcelina Of The Vast Ocean [19]
Doubtful-DellaSpectator[EDIT] The one I labeled \"Owata\" is actually \"99 Floors\" (oops, my bad!) and the one of Billy and the tambourine is the into to \"March Hare\" [/EDIT]
My little digi-cam had trouble with the louder songs. Next time I’m bringing my better video camera
I downloaded the live version of Zero that they sell online, and you couldn’t hear me scream. Pooh. I just about freaked out when Zero came on because I had wanted to hear it at the last concert. It’s not my favorite song, but I just wanted to hear the beginning guitar live… woo hoo.

Hopefully soon I can download the whole album from that night. They are using one of my photos for the download preview! I also wasn’t able to get one of the Tour T-shirts that night, and they don’t sell them online… but I’ll try and find one somewhere.

So even if you hate me for winning, at least I got my stuff in to share the experience with you! (that was just a little bit of sarcasm not aimed at you guys) In other words, for those of you who really really really really wanted to be there too, here’s what I got to see!
Doubtful-DellaSpectatorI still have to process all my videos from the DC show. I’ll let you guys know when they are up and running. I’m so behind on stuff, and things just keep falling apart. You don’t even want to know
Doubtful-DellaSpectatorAll the photos are available for viewing now

PMM wanted some exclusively at first, and now I’m allowed to share them all. Enjoy
Doubtful-DellaSpectator😆
Did you taked with him about your paintings and the contest?
What did he said?[/quote:3g59jaap]Every band member pretty much just said, "oh, that’s nice" and that was it. Gabriel was the only one who was truly interested and impressed and wanted to know more. Stephen liked it a lot too, but he was outside and it was cold, so we didn’t talk too much
Doubtful-DellaSpectatorI wonder if Billy would have let me take a photo with him if I wore JUST my backstage passes *hmmmmm*
Doubtful-DellaSpectatorSorry I was in TN for a week with hardly any internet (I paid for high speed and it was slow as dial up!)
Here is the infamous sharpie along with the signed poster
Doubtful-DellaSpectatorThe amusing thing about all this Della, is that I’d take your writing over a couple members of the paid writers, without a doubt.
You’ve got a lot of heart and passion, and it seems to bleed through what you wrote.
Thanks for sharing
PS: The sharpie moment…oh my God. Not only is it like that South Park moment, but it’s also like The Simpsons, when Homer and Apu went to that 1st Quickie-Mart, far in the isolated mountains to speak to the guru, and Homer wasted all three of their questions by asking "Are you really the head of the quickie mart?"; "Really?"; "Really?" or something to that effect, thereby blowing it for the both of them
Hehe.[/quote:1ae8ucxh]
Aw thank you! I don’t have all the info resources and background knowledge to write all the time. Journaling experiences…. just send me to every concert
I never saw that Simpsons episode! I’ll have to look it up!
Doubtful-DellaSpectator
Doubtful-DellaSpectatorI’m perplexed Della… They didn’t tell ME that you were allowed to go BACKSTAGE! Wow! Awesome!
And awesome story also, I’m getting very curious about the pics and the story on SP.com. Go Della go!
And you even mentioned SPfreaks.com in there? That’s awesome too!
[/quote:2jg08ugl]
I told each and every band member about SPfreaks
I pimp the stuff and people that I love, I just struggle to pimp myself as you can tell my my sheepish questions and lack of confidence to stand up for myself in person.
We didn’t know if I would get backstage passes, my friends just decided that we should try!
Doubtful-DellaSpectatorI fixed some grammar and mistakes that I made… First drafts are always rough
I can’t post my photos yet because PMM wants some of them exclusively … it kind of sucks because I fear by the time it is all said and done people won’t be searching for info from that concert anymore… they will be on to the next best thing
