i guess it has different meanings to each individual person. i’m sure there are a lot of people who don’t believe in the term soul mate.

    in reply to: Love #20414

interesting definition of a soul mate. it actually describes part of my past very well. according to this definition, i met my soul mate back in high school. i hardly ever talk about it because it was a very painful relationship. but when i look back on it now, i realize that it helped to shape who i am today. i think it made me a stronger person.

according to the definition, my hubby would not be my soul mate. part of the definition fits, the mirror part, i see in him things that i would like to be, but he doesn’t make me feel desperate or out of control at all.

in my opinion, this definition is only partly right, and a bit exagerated. i believe soul mates are better off because they have found each other. in my opinion, they help you learn things about yourself, but without the painful drama and they stick around for a while :).

maybe that is bad to base my opinion on one issue, but partial birth abortion is horrible. honestly i don’t really care for either candidate that much.

i normally do not like to discuss politics, but i would definitely not vote for obama because of the abortion issue. i like mccain’s stand on it, only in cases of rape or incest.

    KICK ASS SP!!

I think it definitely was the best thing I missed on the tour-well and his dad kicking some blues was pretty sweet to find on youtube..and his niece joining in one night…
I used to think Dennis Rodman was pretty interesting/intriguing/fucking hot to look at back in the day-so to me eh no big deal about the skirt…I’d walk down the street proudly with him wearing that!! probably want to keep the shirt on though-don’t want to attract to much attention…lol
    I don’t care either way…[/quote:rc1yg1s5]

i think billy in a skirt is hott! he is not afraid to be different and i think that is awesome. i would walk proudly down the street with him wearing it too :)

Pfjew, I was already feeling lonely here. I always order my steaks raw and bloody, I love it that way. It must be the Cro Magnon personality inside of me.

And I’m sure I would love to attend a bbq at your place, bullet. No doubt. 8)[/quote:2i0sqz3q]

we all have so much in common. i am on antidepressants too. i think they are helping me. and like you guys said, i try to appreciate the simple things in life. mostly nature, like your pic of a sunrise. the simple things like that make me remember that life is beautiful. and of course sp’s music is one of the beautiful things in life. i am so glad that i registered on sp.com back in december. if not i wouldn’t have met any of you guys. it is awesome to have you guys to talk to and share our love for sp and share our problems and kinda help each other out :) before i signed up, no one around me understood my obsession with sp. i had to basically keep it all inside. and now i love the fact that there are lots of people just like me and we have found each other. sometimes it really helps me get through the day :)

I believe Brainiac: Science Abuse did an experiment based on that. I believe the result was that you ended up about the same wetness.

Although running would get you out of the rain quicker, so it is favorable.[/quote:15nyj3w8]

i agree with you, Mythbusters did an experiment on this too :)
