Yeah, so when people say they took their kids out to eat, I always tell them I just let mine wander around the yard for a few hours. Much easier that way.
How about a compromise?
We can make a thread solely for some contest \"highlights\", so people can get a flavor of what has been submitted.
However, to keep from biasing the judges’ voting, NO JUDGES WILL VIEW ANY COMMENTS LEFT IN THE CONTEST HIGHLIGHTS THREAD.
There are four of us, and we would just have to go by the honor system here. We can tune in, only after submitting our final votes.
If the judges agree, I think it would be cool to share some of the entries. I’m BLOWN AWAY by most of these!

Typically, sellers don’t leave feedback until the buyer does. After item is received and all agree that all went well. So I imagine most of the glows are still in transit.

It depended largely on the number of submissions, but 30+ may be too many to send to PMM. However, if they want them, we will send them all.
on this note:
the artwork will be posted once a winner is announced. remember, we have to forward to PMM for their involvement as well. not sure how long that will take, but a week seems reasonable.

I love how people are so quick to attack "big oil", or even "little oil" for that matter. They’re an easy target, but not as evil as you all believe. Yes, they make huge profits. It’s simple economics–they provide a commodity that is in high demand. I’m not holding that against them. If you have your panties in a wad about the financial side of "big oil", go buy some stock and enjoy some of those profits. So what’s right with drilling for more oil? This country would come to a screeching halt without oil. I, like many of you, also believe we need to find alternative sources, but you are being idealistic if you think that will happen immediately. Even if a stable, cheap, reliable, clean energy source was discovered today, think about how long it would take to get everyone/thing switched over! YEARS. Thus, we still need oil and gas supplies and reserves that are accessible to us. For those of you who are anti-oil because of the environmental impact, what car do you drive? What heats your home? Your hot water? Dryer? Let me know that you are personally doing things to either conserve oil or stop using it in your life and I’ll let you slide on the oil argument. But if you’re out driving around in your SUV, quit your bitching.

Buy stock and enjoy the profits? That is the stupidest argument for perpetuation of a necessary evil that I have ever heard. You can do better than that, I’m sure.
I am not against oil as a fuel. I am against drilling for more oil to provide relief. Like you say, it will take years either way. IT’S NOT A SOLUTION. DOES NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. Therefore, yes, fuck big oil, and fuck oil in general. Do I use it? Sure! Everyday.
Do you like paying social security? My guess is no. Stop fucking paying then. Just that easy, right?
It’s okay to see oil in a negative light. It’s gotten us this far, thanks oil. But we need better. And deserve better. Or, let’s just turn into our sister planet, Venus, and all cook to death, just because big oil doesn’t REALLY hurt anyone.
