yeah for me, i like certain things. CDs, sure, CDs in cardsleeves, super, must have those.
promo cassettes? love them.
test pressings on vinyl? probably my favorite thing to acquire.
so these 3 categories, i’ll bid pretty high. but for other things, like bootleg vinyls or those teargarden releases, i bid low. for example, i JUST won vol II for $16. i thought that was pretty good, sealed too.

i just looked at the pictures of the HUTCD 10 from the UK on the site, and it DOES look like 2:2 there, not 2:5, like my copy.
i would gather then, my copy is the lastest pressing, because it has ifpi codes.
the 2:2 copy is what then? because my early promo ends in 1:1. shouldn’t they be identical if they are both first UK pressings?
how many motherfucking lull pressings are there?
there is one 1991 US copy in the spfreaks.com collection, but it was pressed in the UK. that doesn’t seem to make too much sense to me. any chance that one was pressed in the US anyway? maybe Nimbus had a US pressing plant too? or what is the reason to assume it was pressed in the UK?

i have two UK copies. first one is this one: ( http://www.spfreaks.com/default.aspx?pa … S&item=133 UK 1991 copy (HUTCD 10)), however i believe the matrix codes are wrong on the site, (should end in 2:5, not 2:2). also, there IS an IFPI code on the inner ring that reads ifpi 2317 (which is manufactured in GroÃbritannien – German for Great Britain). so it’s a real UK CD, but pressed post 94.
the second copy i have is the promo version from UK. it has similar codes, yet different:
HUTCD 10 : 1:1 MASTERED BY NIMBUS – NO IFPI CODES
I checked both commercial and promotional japan copies and they are ifpi free.

I just bought the deluxe reissues from amazon with their pre-order guarantee. Now to decide if I need to add another copy of the vinyl to my collection when I already have the originals. Is the remaster on 180g really worth buying another copy of each? Thoughts anyone….[/quote:27llpkhh]
people will tell you all sorts of crazy shit, but the reissues on vinyl are going to sound just like the vinyl you have. they’ll have some weird inspired new artwork, but that’s it.
i haven’t bought them yet, because i don’t really have the money to blow on them just now, but i did also buy the deluxe reissue CDs for gish and siamese dream. i guess in a couple of days, i’ll figure out if i want to purchase the vinyl. well, i mean, obviously, i want to.
regarding the frail and bedazzled, i had to contact topspin, but they sent a download link. guess they fucked up some of the orders? so anyway, i’m going to download that later, the link is in my email inbox.
